  • The drum rotates 12 rpm and its radius is 0.25 m.
The results are obtained based on the discrete element method (DEM) simulations.
The simulations were performed using an in-house parallel code developed in C++.
Paraview was used for visualization of the results.

great presentation, however how do simulate particles that is non shape like ground meat mixture for the simulation of my mixer? Thank you if this message will reach to you

Hello Dr. Hamid, how to make Paraview represent non-sperical particles (eg. superquadric particles) ? I made a model using LIGGGHTS software with superquadric particles but Paraview is representing them as spherical !

      Hi, they are stl surfaces.

I think there is a plugin available now to visualise superquadric vtk files generated by LIGGGHTS in Para view
