Hey Devon, I’m undecided if I want to push the heli or airline route - if pay was enough to live on, I will go heli every day of the week - I’m 23, I’ve got a mortgage . I’m happy to have dept and it to take some time to build hours but I’ve been told time and time again to never go near the helis as I will have a really hard life trying to pay my bills. Is this true?
Thankyou for the video. I am more interested on how to get the turbine certification process. Plus, is there any difference in certification for a single turbine engine (R66) v/s a twin Turbine engine (Bell 429)and others like them.
hope youre doing well! started watching your videos recently and I finally think I have found what I want to do! thanks for taking the time to make these awesome videos on top of your studies. are you still teaching/instructing in mauna loa?
hello, unrelated to the video but i saw that you went to mauna loa helicopter school and was wondering what that was like. what program did you go through? where did you live and what was the cost? did you gain a degree? and are there any other schools you would recommend? i’ve seen some videos from southern utah university and wondering if you had an opinion on them as well. thanks so much
You're smart thank you for the information you provide. I am so glad to find this information is on the tube. 😮😢😂🎉I can't help but watching every single video you post😊
Low hours guy here, 5 in Robinsons. I always just assumed I would never even consider a turbine, they're just too scary. But you took some of the scariness away. I'm still not going to do it, but at least it's a little less scary!
After watching some of your videos and some tuna boat stuff, I was actually considering rotor, but I've had talks with heli pilots that stated their opinions that R22's arent safe, and Colbi's arent available and way too expensive anyway. Is medevac your endgame? I'm medevac fixed wing now.
@@ellomate2749 I don’t know what it’s called currently but back then they called it U. S. Army Initial Entry Rotary Wing Flight School !!! OOOOOH-RAAAAA !

Devin. Do you fly airplanes as well? If you flew a Hill for someone, how much would it cost to hire you?
