- AMAZING Tooth Decay Restoration: Crown in 4K
To save a tooth severely damaged by tooth decay or fracture, the dentist can perform the following procedures: Root canal treatment (RCT), Pin or post installation, Fabrication of a porcelain crown (in this case metal free).
In this video we will simulate a case where the tooth with very extensive decay is restored thanks to a root canal treatment, use of fiberglass posts, and a metal-free crown: E-MAX.

Это называется героическая стоматология (herodontics). Термин применяется исключительно в плохом смысле. Феррула нет, огромная реставрация действует как концентратор расклинивающей нагрузки в глубокие слои дентина и цемента, которые гораздо лучше приспособлены к распределению нагрузки на сжатие.
При правильном выборе клинического случая, идеальном исполнении адгезивного протокола (лично я бы не стал снимать коффердам до создания билдапа) и некотором шаманстве с окклюзионной схемой пару лет простоит.
Если умело преподносить пациентам как т.н. "спасение зуба", то можно организовать достаточно прибыльную практику в режиме "вечного двигателя" с постоянными переделками вскоре после окончания гарантийного срока. Некоторых стоматологов это устраивает. Правда всегда есть риск "уйти в минус", если работа окажется в плевательнице через несколько месяцев из-за незамеченной контаминации десневой жидкостью или кровью.

Incredible work. I have a broken front lower tooth (opposing the canine which has a implant retained 2 unit cantilever bridge). I simply can't find any dentist who is willing to save it because it is "broken too near the gum line" on part of the tooth. They all quote the same 2mm mantra for a crown. You've shown that not only is it possible, but not even difficult for any skilled dentist!
Whenever I feel low I watch your videos as they every time make me know there are people who by there skills and hardwork are making other's life comfortable. It really energies you .

@rbfoster Wow😢, really? I was told that I needed one today. They all Failed??😮 In hindsight, what would you have chosen to do??
@@Readyfreddy868 gone with a more reputable dentist for one. If they don’t do the root canal properly the tooth will continue to decay underneath the crown until it eventually falls out. Highly recommend a specialist but they do cost more.
That is the worst part of needing dental care. Insurance doesn’t cover much.

It is not a problem to do it in general,but it takes a lot of time,and of course ,it will cost.
There are some that should be looked for very carefully and if it is possible that they are specialists.

Es increíble el proceso de restauración, en los personal me da algo de miedo ir al dentista pero con este video ya puedo ver que es lo que hacen.

Wow 😮 very nice. I’m having this procedure done now. My tooth is my left canine. My dentist says it was hard to do because it was on the side but so far so good. Gotta go back in a few weeks for the crown.
How long was the procedure? I’m pretty sure I will have to get this done, I’m concerned with how long I have to keep my mouth open.
@@msjay_8834 Mine was complicated. He first had to cut the dead nerves. Then he filled it with a temporary filling. I gotta go back for the permanent filling and then finally the crown. They put a block in my mouth to keep it open. Usually it’s done in several visits. Each visit roughly an hour in the chair.

@@souravbiswas8043 Well that depends on if you have insurance. My insurance covered a good portion of it. It also depends on how bad your tooth 🦷 is. Mine was VERY bad. I paid roughly $900.00 so far and I’m not done yet. I live in the USA 🇺🇸

Cuando tenia 12 años tenia un molar así, mi mamá me llevó a un odontologo de un hospital que me derivo a su consultorio particular y me arranco esa pieza. Y llore porque si me dolió. Moraleja, las piezas dentales tienen salvación, lo dice el video❤ .
