Judy, it is wonderful that you are participating in the Boggy Creek blanket drive and encouraging others to participate. Boggy Creek Camp is a camp in Florida for children who have serious health issues. All their medical needs are met the camp has medical staff. All the children that go at the same time have the same illness so that they get to be just kids, not the kid with certain cancer or the kid with epilepsy. Each bed gets one of these blankets, and the child gets to take it home as a keepsake. To everyone who participates in Boggy Creek Blanket Brigade, I give you my most sincere thanks, I know what it means to these kids and their parents. My youngest son had epilepsy. Fortunately, he outgrew it and is seizure free. I remember how happy he was when he got to go a similar camp.
Hello Judy! You all, who are Making blankets, and you too Judy have ALL my Admiration,🤩 This take so much work!!! I have ( and don't intend) never crochet a blanket, not even a baby one!!! Amigurumi is my only goal!!!😉😁
Hello Judy! It is so very kind of you to participate in the Boggy Creek blanket drive. Thank you so very much for doing that. I love all of your blanket WIPS. Every single one is beautiful! Have a lovely trip Judy. Stay safe and enjoy your time away💕
Watched you for the first time today. Wow, The Boggy Creek Blanket project has traveled around the world! Crafters are sooo generous! You are a dear!!!❤❤❤
Love seeing all your blankets and WIPS. I think it is wonderful you are doing the giveaway and understand the restriction. Makes sense to me. Have a safe trip!
Beautiful blankets. I don't make many blankets but you're inspiring me to do more. I'm thinking it will be cool soon so I can get working on another blanket after I finish Pete's Christmas present blanket. I have all the yarn for Sally Jellyfish and will start her soon. I'm excited, Ada will love her. Thank you Judy!! Have a fabulous vacation!! Prayers, love and hugs my very dear friend 🙏🧡🤗
New subscriber! I love your blanket wips! Beautiful colors and interesting stitches. I bookmarked a couple of them for my to-be-made list. 😄 I’m working on a BC blanket now. It’s a pattern with tutorial from Angela at My Precious Yarnery. Easy with a cool texture. Safe travels! 🦋
Great blanket WIPs! You've inspired me to use the Sober Granny stitch for a charity blanket sometime... don't know why I've never used that stitch before in a blanket as I've used most of Christa's blanket stitches! Before you even mentioned the mail blessing for Boggy Ck I was thinking I should crochet a blanket for them as I've been crocheting heaps of blankets & ponchos for local charities this year. So I'll get onto that soon. Hmmm.... I'm wondering if I might also do the Luck of the Draw blanket in 8 different stitches rather than 8 different colours! I'll think about it. 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
I just finished a Boggy Blanket last night in an easy ripple pattern. I always have a couple going because I get bored easily and like to try new yarns and patterns. The next one i have on the hook is the Vstitch ripple by Bogy Creek and love the way it is looking. It is fast easy and looks beautiful.
