Hi Judy. This exactly the kind of pattern I was looking for. It looks fancy and I love how the top of the towel is enclosed and looks so finished. I've made one so far and plan to make more. Thank you for this demonstration!
Wow! Thank you so much I am a master at fudging as I have been crochet for about 4 mths & every pattern I have fudges to meet my tension or lack of it :) I love how you don't just do double or single and put a pattern on it. These will be Christmas presents for my grown children who always drop tea towels on the floor. Hopefully this will stop them a bit.
Hi Judy, this is my first time I watched your video, I was very happy with your demontration better than some of who rushed& you cant follow them. Dont worry about these people who criticised you. You are the best& when I finished my tea towel I will show you. Keep up the great work& thank you!❤
Hi Judy, thanks for doing this demonstration, I really appreciate it. I believe I might even be able to do it too. Thanks so much. P.s I can't believe someone would criticize what you are wearing or your technique or send a nasty email. Honestly if people don't have anything nice to say then they should say nothing. Take care xxx
Hi Judy, thank you for sharing your version of a Tea Towel Topper. I enjoy getting ideas from all of you (creative crocheters). I think you did a great job of crocheting on camera. You showed good, clear and simple explanation of each step. Now I am going to give it a try and put my "Fudging" skills to work if I have to. Thanks! 🤗🤩🧶Blessings from Arkansas, USA.
I have seen and made several towel toppers. This is the first one that I've seen where you "envelop" the towel with a front and back row of crochet. That's a great idea. Thanks for the tips and the demonstration.
Oh wow!! This is fantastic Judy! I've never seen tea-towel toppers done with the sewn start & then the envelope for a few rows! That's an awesome way of doing it & much simpler than the versions I've tried before with fine crochet hooks piercing the tea-towel for the first row! I gave up doing them as it was tedious that way! I'll have to give your way a go & put it on my very long "wanna crochet next" list!!! I thought you did an excellent job of explaining it all too! Thanks! 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
I really loved this tutorial from you. I’ve made tea towels before but not a Lacey Pattern. This has really inspired me to move on from the way I do it. Thankyou ever so much.
Great job explaining it. I like the way you do them, I've never seen them like that before. And I'm from Pennsylvania, USA originally and we call then tea towels there too. Prayers, love and hugs my very dear friend 🙏🧡🤗
Thank you for your time to show us your technique, however I have a question. How did you put the yarn through the fabric??? Or how did you sewn your edging???
@@judyatwitchpeacecraft ok you mean with the crochet hook through the fabric or the sewing machine or how? Sorry a visual, can you show me in a short video?
We don't have a dollar tree here but we have something similar. I do buy from that shop but mainly the are my cheapest price point because of the quality,
Thank you for the demo!. I like how your toppers look, I'll give one a try. Though I just gave away 2 Cones of vintage cotton I could of used !!!!!!lol..
Beautiful work Judy, love the no nonsense down-to-earth earth explanation from a fellow Aussie👍
Thanks, it's good to hear you find it helpful!
Judy, you explained this so well and it's a lot prettier than all the ones I have seen over these many years.

Sew my edging the crochet under it.
@@judyatwitchpeacecraft ok you mean with the crochet hook through the fabric or the sewing machine or how? Sorry a visual, can you show me in a short video?
hand sew back stitch along the edge all the way round. Then crochet under each back stitch all the way round.
I like it I do them to
Yay I hope I can do this everyone I have tired ugh
Email me if you need any help
Where do you buy the tea towels?
Any where local when they are on sale. Sportlight, Big W etc. I dont buy in bulk from any wholesalers.
@ do you buy from the dollar tree? What type of towels do you use?
We don't have a dollar tree here but we have something similar. I do buy from that shop but mainly the are my cheapest price point because of the quality,
@ thanks
Do a tutorial on how you back stich the edges. I don't get how to do it.
Will try but life is a bit busy at the moment
