Question, my CarPlay appears to be working, but it always has "not playing" box with is for Apple Music. I never use that and would want something else in that home page spot.
Hello, I am looking for a device so that i can i mirror my iphone screen to the dashboard of my vehicle while i run on off-line navigator on my iphone in a wireless way. Is it also possible to use the tactile dashboard of the car to send instructions to my iphone? Kr, Marc

@@whiteandnerdytuba “oh my sweet summer child”. Lol. Anyway, all of our vehicles have full screen CarPlay. 2 Jeeps, 2 Chevrolet, Toyota & Hyundai. So what car would be a “worst CarPlay”??
@@zerocool1722 Ford 12 inch is the worst since it's just a small Window on the screen, or his Jeep Cherokee would be a 7/10, new tundra and sequoia, kia telluride are top tier. Pretty much any car that has carplay as full screen, like it was intended and has been for many years. It's the intentional making carplay smaller and smaller on larger and larger screens that is running rampant seemingly only to push monthly subscriptions

And what does monthly subscriptions have to do with a full screen display for CarPlay??? It’s not like you have to pay monthly to use the actual full screen, lol.
I don’t know about other radios but in my 2022 Silverado I wish I could access the fm radio within CarPlay over going to the gm interface to do it. I can use the radio in CarPlay but if I want to change station I have to let it change it and then go back

Apple should allow us to use streaming services on CarPlay since their gonna update CarPlay soon this would be a great idea if CarPlay knows that we’re in (P) Parked we should be allowed to watch stuff on the screen CarPlay has so much more potential so I’d like to see one year just dedicated to CarPlay updates
There’s android boxes that do this like magic or stream to your car

I just used iTunes on Apple Car play for listening to music. I even listened to TH-cam or even Apple TV movies to listening.

I always have Wayze running in the background and use Apple Maps. Wayze will still warn you if there are speed traps.
Waze
Being an EV driver I can’t live without A Better Route Planner. It even connects with the car so it knows your range and plans your journey with charging stops. Something Apple Maps could have developed.

You just add the app to your phone and if it's Carplay compatible, it will pop up in your car when using Carplay.
I wonder if the Brave CarPlay player sends the complete video/audio data stream to play the audio only, which would be terrible for limited data plans.
I don't know about Brave, but I have unlimited data with att and sometime stream TH-cam music directly to the streaming app in my Kia Forte and can even control TH-cam's skip forward function. I just don't look at the screen since I am driving, of course.
With the low cost of unlimited data plans now, there is no reason to have a limited data plan unless you are dead broke.

They really need to let you add the weather App, would be nice if you are driving and knowing when its going to start raining, if you need to get off the road for a tornado ,, etc…,, you can order donuts but you cant look at the weather… 😂
I actually looked this video up bc they just released an app with a rain radar and wanted to see if there was anything else I had missed
They're just slowly unlocking basic features that should have been there from the start. Apple has been doing this for years.

I have an electric car and I’ve never found a really good app to locate rapid charging stations. Let me know if you find one.

The apps need to support CarPlay then when you add them to your phone, they’ll show on CarPlay too. You can turn them off and change the order in Settings > General > CarPlay
The MLB app is horrible. For me to use it I almost always have to open the app on my phone. What’s the point of the app if I still have to open the app on my phone. Plus… it would be nice if they showed the score and inning on the screen.
How about you remember I am a member so I don't have to pick up my phone to listen to the game. Agreed.

🤣🤣🤣 It hurts my stomach! I never have bad luck at Starbucks but Dunkin just don't sit well with me! Not to mention their donuts aren't made there and always seem to be stale... but I know lots of people love them!

Useless apps. Put on some music then be done with it. Concentrate on your driving instead.
