Been to Olden three times, the pub and locals are very welcoming. Love that the pub plays “Sailing” by Rod Stewart during sail away. I pity those who work nights and gets rudely woken by our Rod 😂 The scenery is stunning - made better by great camera work. Thanks for sharing 🤗🤗

Hi Nicky and Claire. Olden and The Briksdal Glacier are so beautiful. Olden had great scenery and the glaciers created such amazing waterfalls. I would have been wonderful if you both could spend more time there. You both could have really appreciate the natural beauty of it all. The drone shots were great It added another element to the video. How cool for the the locals to give the ship a proper send off. I hope you both didn't get seasick with all the swaying.. Great video. It's going to be tough to top this one, but L'm sure you will find a way. Thanks for sharing and take care.🤙🤙🤙

Hi N&C - OMG, absolutely love the drone shots! Olden - such spectacular scenery - waterfalls, glacier, snow, trees, cliffs - such amazing views - you did an incredible job! The town looks so quaint - would love to lounge at some outdoor cafe enjoying a Norwegian danish/pastry and hot cup of coffee or cocoa ☕🧁 I didn't see any trolls in you vlog - aren't they supposed to be from Norway? - Glad that Claire found another keepsake ornament 🎄 The ship sure was swaying there - hope no one gets sea sick.🤮When we were on a cruise the water was choppy but didn't sway like yours did. Droney McDroneface did you proud, absolutely stunning scenes! Of course Claire found a Christmas shop 😂 And the cutest send off when you set sail again, that was so lovely to see! Curious to know if the sickness tablets helped with all the sway in the evening? It’s probably the main thing that holds us back (that and general claustrophobia to be honest) so keen to hear more on whether the choppy sea affect you, or if you feel confined in anyway? I guess the sea facing cabin helps?

I have never felt dodgy onboard a cruise ship, a smaller boat sure, just like in Monterrey 🤢
We use the Sturgeon sickness tablets. They seem to be pretty legit.
Never feel claustrophobic, Those things are huge. You sometimes forget you're on a ship when having fun in a bar or catching a show.
If the boat is a rokin .. dont come knockin !!!!!😂😂😂

Another great video. I been to Norway a couple times while in the US military but way up north in Evenes which is about 60 miles above the Arctic circle. Taking my wife on an Alaskan cruise this October for her birthday. Unexpected since we just got back from the Caribbean in April and we have that European cruise scheduled next year but why put off tomorrow when you can do it today ? Live life to the fullest is what I say. Luv the videos.

Another terrific video. When we left Miami on Harmony a couple weeks ago we had some rough weather, I switched from Gin and Tonic, to Vodka and Ginger Ale, I heard Ginger Ale can help with motion sickness. I don't know though as I've not had any issues. Glad to hear you took a little back from the Casino.
Ive never felt sickness on a ship so far, but put me on a smaller boat and🤢😆

Dont know if uv ever been to the jungfrau region in Switzerland but its worth checking out, scenery is absolutely stunning! We were there in May in our campervan, hopefully we'l get to Norway one day x

Love the drone footage, surprised you were allowed to take one on board, some cruises company’s like P&O they are banned and if you are caught with one it will be confiscated until end of cruise.

can you get tickets for the briksdale glacier at the port or do you have to pre book?
Yeah, u can get them at the port, but probably easier to book through the olden adventures website, much cheaper than via the cruise company.
