I must admit a cruise might not be my first choice for a holiday, I'm grateful for the chance to experience it through your previous vlog series and through this current one. You've opened my eyes to the possibilities and the fun that can be had on a cruise!

Not Claire fuming at 12:38 😅. I can’t at Norway picking Twinings as their go to tea 🤷🏼♂️. Awesome shots and music choice as per Mr F 🙌🏼. Any specific reason why the drinks package was so much more expensive this time around? Could it be route/cruise specific, or was it just cheaper previously due to things reopening again 🧐

We would have probably got it cheaper had we booked earlier, we were talking to someone from the group on board who got it for £40 each.

I did this exact cruise on the same ship in May 2022. Absolutely fantastic, staff were incredible and on hand 24/7. Would love to get back on one day.
I stayed in Room 566 on Deck 11 and it was almost identical to yours. Love the rooms on there, better than any other cruise I have been on.
Anthem is a good experience for sure, even better with a novel itinerary lile this one, thanks for watching👍

Just come back from Norway on Jewel OTS. Was a bit too long as we went right up to Honningsvag and the the ship was a bit old and dated, but I have to say that G
Geiranger, Flam and Olden were truly stunning .
We were on the Anthem Transatlantic last year and were in Cabin 9162. Your cabin looks very close to where we were.
Sounds good, those places are stunning! We didnt get to Flam but im sure its great👍

I'm looking forward to Geiranger Fjord. Hope you hike up the waterfall trail to some view points near the Hotel Union And if you get a ride/shuttle to the Dalsnibba Utsiktspunkt high above the fjord you will have spectacular views. If not drone footage should be exceptional. Cheers

Hey Nicky. Great vid as usual. My wife and I are on a 9 day European cruise next Sep on Odyssey of the seas. 1st time on RCL and Really debating the drink package. They want me to pay for both my wife and I but my wife doesn’t drink. Then again not sure if I want to go stand alone drinks. $15 drink would cost up to $17 with the surcharge. Decisions decisions 😂. Would love to do the Norway cruise one time. We done Alaska and Caribbean. Next year Europe. Maybe Norway some time in the future. Can’t wait for the next video.

@@clairefurmage6581 yea Claire that’s kind of what I was seeing. I did a little figuring for just me paying out right for drinks it would be cheaper but we will see. We just got back from a cruise on NCL Encore, video posted on my channel. Had drinks included. Still got time to figure out what I will do on our European one next year.
I spent a few magical days in Geiranger in the 1980s, having travelled from Trondheim by a combination of hurtigrute, car, and local ferry. One reason that it was magical was its quiet and isolation and environmental purity. This was before these behemoths began entering the fjords. The Norwegians, in their respect for both local and global environments, have banned these ships beginning in 2025*, and I can see why. I cannot imagine 20,000 people from multiple ships descending on the local environment. It is easy enough to travel there using local facilities and a little self-reliance.
All the time i was there i did feel i would enjoy the place travelling by ourselves on a road trip, that would be great.

Yes, Royal Caribbean and celebrity, unlike other cruise lines, let you take them onboard.

Hi, i currently use the Sony ZV1 as my main camera, i use a Zhiyun M2 Crane gimble with it also a lot of the time.
The drone is a DJI mini 2.
I edit with Adobe premiere Pro.👍

If you ring Royal Caribbean (or your travel agent) there’s a special price for drinks packages from Southampton. My and my wife got the deluxe package for £602
I did. we couldn't get it less than 60 per day each i would have been able to if we booked earlier i guess.

Yes apart from selected restaurants such as chops grill and wonderland.
