Idk if mdf is the english name for the material too, but basically compressed wood, you can find it in different thicknesses

jasmien, i just really wanted to say, thank you for posting these videos. you might not realize this, but your helping a lot of people get inspired including me. everytime i watch your videos, i feel nostalgic, it feels like ive lived in new york before, and it makes me realize how good life can be. you're art is beautiful and makes me inspired to be a better artist. you're gonna be a huge thing one day ( besides TH-cam ofc)

I just wanted to say that you're my biggest inspiration! I'm also a college student in artschool but I can't seem to find my will to do anything besides laying on my bed and scrolling through facebook for the rest of the day for these past 2 months.
I bump into your videos the other day and I just started watching all of them, seeing you constantly creating artworks and having such an organized life, I then decided to get my shit together and today I finally went out, got my hair cut, my health checked and bought 2 canvas to, once again, doing something I used to love so much - painting. I realized that I just cannot let myself keep drowning in other useless stuffs that keeps me from doing things that actually mean something in my life.

This was so cool to watch, and I'm a painting major too! I'm at MICA '22 w/ a printmaking minor. I always wanna know what finals and classes are like at other art schools, like PRATT, SAIC, etc, and it was super nice watching you work on all of your finals because I could relate soooooo hard 😂. I feel like your videos portray really well what art school is like and how difficult it can be, and you and all of your friends are crazy talented 😍

This printing studio scene reminded me of art class back in high school the only (but huge) difference is that we had to do prints of our faces and that you have this absolutely gorgeous and beautiful piece of art!
a tip for when you have a huge piece to carve is to put grip tape for rackets on the carving tool that way its less painful 🤙🏼

Today is the 6th of December and I have one more week before my finals presentation. I'm also in artschool and the pressure + insane schedule starts around 2-3 weeks before finals. I'm soooo tired and really have to continue on my essay. I came here in order to find motivation again and after seeing you work on your essay I though..... yes I can do it! It's so hard to find that bit of piece of mind to write essays during finals, but your vlogs made it seem weirdly peaceful haahha. Let's start writing right now!
