Fist off, Thank you for this instructional video. I have this same refrigerator. It is in my house and my wife and I in the past 6 month decided to buy a new home and use this house with the fridge and an investment home.
Since that decision the hot water heater went and needed to repair a leak in the roof. All super expensive repair and way over my husband pay grade.
When I fridge went I was going to have a handyman come and he told me about $150 to $300 for service visit and repair and this wasn't a licensed GE repairman.
I watched your video, ordered the same part from Amazon and replaced fan in about 1.5 hours and that was because I didn't want to eff anything up.

I thought until I actually got tools took it apart, and it's frozen coils and so much ice coveri g the pan. Drain line blocked? Ugg I feel over my head now I may have to call for help if I can't get it myself
Hi, The evaporator fan was replaced (problem was the meat drawer was always freezing). Now with the fan replaced, the meat drawer is warmer than the rest of the fridge. Other drawers work fine. Temperature is more even across the fridge (apart from the meat drawer). Is there another piece that should be checked? Thank you.
Will this also be a cause for the water dispenser to not dispense?
Question: Great Video, but I continue to have issues. I replaced the fan motor as your video showed, and it was working perfectly for about a month, but then the issue returned. The Refrigerator will not get cooler than 58 Degrees. The fan motor I bought came with a slightly different Model Number, but the site said it would be compatible. In the video you mention that there might be a need to buy a new Module. Do you think that Would possibly solve the issue? If so, do you have a link to where I can find the module, and do you have a video on how to replace the Module? Thank You again. Great East to Follow Video.

I think my compressor is going out on my 2.5 year old GE Profile. The temperatures in the freezer and refrigerator are higher by 10 degrees.
There's so many thermistors for that fridge.
