    Hey, my bike, same color core 4. I’ve added the Chester pedals, one fork token, tubeless gold valve stems with orange seal endurance, cane creek headset, timber bell, DT Swiss 54tooth gear upgrade, fun zippa chainring bash guard, fox fender, crank end caps, and invis (pain in the a$$). Great video!

    Hi! My dad just got this Jeffsy but in Vlad Red and let me build it. When screwing on the handlebar clamp i noticed that they were greased, i didn't think so much about it just washed my hands very well. Then it came to the derauiller where i multiple times touched the chain which was oily. Again i just went and washed my hands thoroughly. When i was done i washed my hands multiple times because they still felt oily but dry at the same time. Then i searched up how to get that stuff off and noticed that it said "DO NOT TOUCH" and that it could be cancerous because it could find it's way into the blood stream through the skin. I then was and am really scared that i will affect my healt! ( i often overthink) So my question was if you know if it's dangerous or if i'm just really scared? Did you also touch these parts? Sorry for the long text but hope you will reply!

    • @Tyleridesbikes
      @Tyleridesbikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not a problem. I’m sure that you have very little to worry about I’ve touched plenty of these greasy parts or grease in general and I’ve never had any issues from it and I’ve been working on bikes for 10 years plus. If it concerns you maybe wear rubber gloves next time. You should be fine though. I’ve never thought about it being dangerous I’m not saying it isn’t but you should be just fine. Have fun, keep shredding and hope your dad enjoys the new bike!

      @@Tyleridesbikes Thank's for the reply, now i'm a bit calmer. My dad sure will enjoy this bike. Me myself am riding a YT Capra Pro 29" and enjoying it really much.

    I know this may be stupid but any luck finding a bottle cage and water bottle (non YT) to fit?

    Hey Tyler, nice video! I have a question: Gonna order the core 4 soon but I’m not sure about the size. I’m 1,83m and don’t know if the Large or X-Large will fit better. How tall are you and which size would you recommend me?

    • @Tyleridesbikes
      @Tyleridesbikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      According to YT sizing you’re right in the middle. If you go L it could be more playful but size up and it’d be more stable. If you have a bike that feels good currently I’d try to look at the gel between the two and compare. Sizing is really rider preference when you’re that close. I’m 6’2” and ride an XL YT but have a Revel that’s a large.

    • @marcokrenn3270

      @@Tyleridesbikes thx! Compared the geo with my levo and finally decided to order the XL on Thursday. Luckily 1 day before they raised the price on the bike. Have fun with it!

    Hey mate, do you need to apply carbon paste between seat tube and dropper? i bought my jeffsy second hand so dont know if one is actually supposed to apply paste there. Thanks!

    • @outandabout1325
      @outandabout1325 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mine came with a little tube of paste for that in the box.

    • @Tyleridesbikes
      @Tyleridesbikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, like out and about added. It does come with carbon paste that I added to all the parts that required it. Should have added that. Good question!

    How do you remove the rear axle to install the rear wheel!? I've never had an axle like this... it just spins and won't come loose or out? Is it faulty/broken?

    • @Tyleridesbikes
      @Tyleridesbikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s threaded so you should just have to loosen it and slide it out. Maybe its stripped? It should come out fairly easy

  • @ChiefLunar
    @ChiefLunar 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Putting mine together now, I can literally feel a bend in the carbon frame in the top tube right near the dropper post, is that normal? If I press down hard enough I can feel it

    • @Tyleridesbikes
