      You also have the problem of "news" outlets such as vice, vox, or buzzfeed saying that whites have no culture and that America needs to be destroyed and rebuilt.

    • @anotherrandomer
      @anotherrandomer 5 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      @@vagabondwastrel2361 lmao, you have probably not watched Fox and CNN who have been doing that albeit subtly before social media came into presence. The problem America faces is that people have forgotten their roots. There's this weird "white" obsession, which ties in with American exceptionalism. There is no "white culture" per se, there are English, Welsh, Gaelic, Italian, German, French and Dutch influences on American culture which is swept away by marketing tools. I see second generation Germans pronounce their surnames in an Americanized way and it feels weird. Although I met a guy playing Gaelic music at night when I buying a pack of smokes and it put a smile on my face.

    • @vagabondwastrel2361

      @fowlerfreak I can't agree that fox has been doing it. I know for a long time they were supporting the theocratic authoritarians but those have lost power before obama was elected. In regards to the rest the fascists and communists in the left lump all of the different "white" cultures into one then claim they don't have culture. The people who I have seen do that tend to be either one of three groups. First and horrifyingly are professors of ivy league colleges. Second group are the grievance study majors. Third are the race pimp bigots. For reference just look at Al Sharpton, Tariq Nasheed or talcum X aka shaun king.

      The goal of the british crown was taxation and enslaving everyone under their tax schemes no matter the method. That was the solitary goal. The creation of the Real Estate assimilation scheme forcing everyone into perpetual tax slavery and stealing the inheritance of everyone, changing language to use words like alien, citizen, family, etc. All of those words mean Slave in latin. Even the word woman comes from wifman meaning servant. They trick everyone with their economic taxation and legal language using Latin double entendres, double meaning words. So that when people say words like drive, which has a meaning of a commercial capacity, people use it in everyday speak to mean anyone using a motorized car.

      I completely agree! Māori culture is palpable, respected and embraced in New Zealand. You see it so much in public like in architecture too. The Treaty of Waitangi helped pave the way for mutual respect and kinship between māori people and European settlers. If Australia had a similar genuine treaty giving Indigenous and Torres Strait Islanders equal standing at the time of invasion we would possibly have a different society today.

      @Liv N I don't think Natalie Price meant that the colonists gracefully allowed Maori peoples into the fold for mutual respect and kinship. I think she is aware that it was hard fought and won by Maori ferocity and tenacity. That the Maori forced the colonists to sign the treat, which then has resulted in what appears today to be mutual respect and kinship. It is a stark contrast as to what is occurring in Australia. Indigenous languages are not spoken, the culture and history not respected, indeed it is not even known to non-indigenous Australians. Our indigenous peoples have never been allowed to have a voice in places of leadership, even to represent and further their own interests within their communities. There is no 'we are one' here. There are many reasons why Australian Aboriginal language has not been adopted into the mainstream, a principal factor being that there are over 300 surviving languages out of an original of over 700. Many are not related at all; as different as Romanian is to Italian - from the same continent, but completely different peoples. The one thing I'd disagree with Natalie's comment is the use of "settlers" - they were colonists, not settlers. The English aim was to own and conquer. They, in essence, failed (NZ only country to force the British Empire into a treaty....ever).
      NZ national anthem is in Maori. Most non-Maori NZ peoples have at least a cursory understanding of parts of the language and culture. That simply does not exist in Australia. Yet. I hope.

It must have been a harsh struggle for them to hold onto their beliefs and cultural up bringing throughout the years. I think that the guys in Alien Weaponry are doing a great service to bring awareness to their native language of Maori by singing their songs in it.Not to mention the fact that it works so well with their awesome thrash metal its like icing on the cake!
