Whoever designed this room in the remake is the true embodiment of evil. Let’s make it so you have to fight two Garradors, they’re completely auditory enemies meaning the smallest noise will alert them, they can frame trap you in a corner, grenades do pratically nothing, and they take a million hits to die. Is that too hard? No. Okay then let’s have a MILLION OTHER ENEMIES GANG UP ON YOU THAT YOU CAN’T KILL AS THAT’LL DRAW THE GARRADOR’S ATTENTION, BUT THEY CAN BE TALKING AND LOUDLY SWINGING THEIR WEAPONS AND NOT GET ALERTED!!!
Just got to this room. I got hit by one enemy and of course when Leon is staggered, he has to contemplate life and spend a minute getting it together before he can move. Then the garrador hits me, staggered, enemy hits me, staggered, oh I'm dead...fun
My trick to this room was to have the two Garradors kill the other enemies. If you run by them quickly it alerts the Garradors who just show up and start hacking wildly.
I actually just got through this room in the original recently, and I'm amazed at how much the strategy remains the same in the remake: pick off the minor enemies with a sniper rifle, lure the Garradors into the more open entry area, evade and shoot them in isolation until they're dead, then finish off stragglers in the rest of the room.
Hard doesn't have the first bell, which makes it even harder. On the original I just used the free rocket launcher you can get on one of them and the other one become standard.
when i was playing I managed to get cornered in the hallway both ways by the garradors. I didn't think I was going to make it, but i crouched as the two clang their blade claws against each other and escaped. I cant find anyone else who had that happen to them on yourube

It is very interesting on how the enemy hearing is effected with difficulty levels. Those fuckers would rush at me across the room because i decided to run fast yet they ignore the giant bell here
I remember arriving at this part with barely any ammo because I had to kill all those bug creatures prior to this. As a last resort, I used my cross bow and a knife to kill the ganados without alerting the garradors. Once I killed all the ganados I used my cross bow to shoot the garradors and switched to the sniper rifle once I ran out of bows.
Did this on standard by luring them to the bells and lobbing every grenade I had. Maybe 2 heavy and 2 standard. And finished them easy with a few shots of the broken butterfly. Doing this on professional, they seem to get stuck on the first altar/table in the room and just swing madly while you shoot them, so that’s probably the easiest way.
@@JxhnNichxlls Na, for me is more useful to be loud, because, if a enemy are in the way of the Garrador, this kill the Ganados for you leaving you with 2 garradores alone. This tip helped me a lot on hardcore and i be able to spend the resources on more harder parts.
