Great video! Food looks so yummy! I passed by the location a few months ago, now it’s finally open. Princess looks extra cute today with her mega sized Minnie hairbow ❤
This new location was stunning when I was able to visit for the first time. Prices are 2-3 bucks higher than the other SoCal locations, but validation is $10 for 6 hours if you dine in which more than definitely covers the cost. Great video Chris!
Hi Chris. Thanks for the video. Din Tai Fung is a great place for the soup dumplings.Happy it met your expectations. Cool looking shirt. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Thanks for the video. Xiao Long Bao are one of those foods/dishes that look appealing to me at first glance, but I know I wouldn't enjoy. I'm not a big soup eater and I generally don't like it when I bite into something and a hot/warm liquid squirts out. It is a bit of an issue because a sort of soup dumpling is one of the great, beloved specialties of the region where I was born, raised and unfortunately still live in. I spent a year in China on an internship as a engineering student 20 years ago and back then, when me, my boss and 2 engineers from another German company flew to China and had our first meals there, the two engineers, who came from a different part of Germany, told me: "Hey, you should feel right at home here, with all those dumplings they eat." To which I could only muster a tortured grin. Of course I found other stuff within Chinese cuisine I liked. I'm just more of a Peking Duck guy, than a Xiao Long Bao, Jiao Zi or Bao Zi guy. That chopped rice cake looks more "up my alley". Never had that in China, but it reminds me of the sliced and stir fried potatoes and eggplants I often had. I was toying with the idea of doing a day of fasting every week and I thought Sunday is the best candidate, but maybe not if you are going to keep releasing restaurant review videos on the weekends, hehehe.
Those apps are too expensive. Usually they are around 5-8 at the Asian place I like to eat! I'll look forward next week for maybe the B-gates tour at DEN. :)
Chris, I love the shirt, but I look horrible in bright yellow. I know Yellow Productions is your brand...but. That T-shirt with a different background (bright blue?) would be fantastic!
Had the cucumber salad several times at Singapore locations and it's completely different and vastly superior for some reason. I'm not sure why the US version is so different. I'm curious which version is closer to the Taiwan original.

Hey… the real Disney is in Orlando, FL don’t get me excited you just ruined my weekend 😭 I lived in China & I love Din Tai Fun… I thought you meant Disney in Orlando from the title 😭
@jayalexander7763 the ORIGINAL Disney is Disneyland, NOT Disney World in Orlando. If you know anything about Disney, you would know that Downtown Disney (it’s in the video title!) is in Disneyland in Anaheim, California. AND Din Tai Fung has nothing to do with China, it’s a Taiwanese restaurant
@@kikyochan66 it was a joke about Disney friend… ppl from Cali & Orlando always say which is the real Disney as a joke… & I know it’s from Taiwan I’ve been there too. But still they have in China and I use to go often Chengdu to be exact

Din Tai Fung is such a good restaurant!
Agreed!
Din Tai is the best!
O I love the new shirt!! And that silly princess haha
Many thanks for this Chris
Will have to try Din Tai Fung when we come over next year. Also love the t-shirt. Very cool. 😎
I think you'll find it yummy 😋

Great video Chris!
Agreed Michael. And yes. It costs a little bit more. But it's worth it is an anchor activity to spend an afternoon or evening at Downtown Disney

Thanks James!
Just tried Din Tai Fung for the first time at Valley Fair in San Jose in May, it definitely made me want to go back and try some other things!
Mmm!
Oh My god Soup Dumplings !!!!
Mmm
So good!!!! Looks like the former Rainforest Cafe property?
I think it's more like a portion of the former AMC theater. Old rainforest Cafe still has the star wars shop in it
Thanks for the video.

Hah! Sorry to mess with your fasting routine! I'm definitely a big fan Peking duck too!

Indeed. I didn't forget your request. This topic was just more timely 😀
Cute
I want to see the live video from the Paris Olympic events.

Thanks Sabrina for the suggestion. I'll consider doing it in different color base shirts 😀
I have been to their location in London. I enjoyed it but found it to be on more expensive side for smaller portions.
It's definitely not cheap for sure
I see a new shirt 😎
Good eyes 😀
Their pork belly is delicious!
Sorry, I think I meant the Sweet n Sour Pork Baby Ribs
💜💜💜
Mark summers does Disney
The crab meat XLB is way tastier, especially in China or Taiwan.

I'm sure a different source for the cucumbers

It's Disney Springs in Orlando
@@YellowProductions oh really 😳… I could’ve swore you said Disneyland and then I turned off the video lol… my bad 😅

Too expensive and not worth for it. 😂😂😂
More Xiao Long Bao for me then! 😀
