First up I have watched a couple of your demos of washing machines over the last week and have to say you give out a lot of GREAT! informative information about the product that I have respect for and can honestly say you do a TOP JOB! with the presentation of them. Now I have to be honest regarding tumble dryers the one I have is a Hotpoint Aquarius and have had it for years well about 8 years to be precise and I brought it second hand in mint condition for £60. It's still working perfectly fine and is a vented dryer. Well, only last week I went to do some washing and low and behold my Hotpoint washing machine (which I also brought second hand for £130 and worked for the same amount of years) started to trip out the electricity on the fuse box and having got out a repair engineer he basically told me that the drum had come loose and most like scraped on the heater underneath to cause it to short circuit. He also told me that it would cost too much to repair. So I ended up buying a brand new Hoover H-Wash 300 H3W492DBBE Freestanding Washing Machine in black and it arrived today. Having already done a wash in it I am well pleased with the machine. There was a reason why I brought a black one and that was that only a couple of weeks ago I brought a black Fridge Freezer and thought it went well with my other black appliances such as the Microwave, Toaster and Kettle. So it made sense to buy a black washing machine but the only problem was that my dryer is white so even though it still works perfectly fine I thought I might as well get either a second hand or a new one in black. Now to be perfectly honest I have not looked at dryers for years and just by looking at them, it appears that they have put in lots of things that a dryer does not need at all and the only reason I can think they have done this is so that they can charge the same price as a washing machine for the things. Years ago no way would you pay the price of a washing machine for a tumble dryer and most tumble dryers were either half the price or even less than that of a washing machine. Now I was thinking of buying a new Hoover HLEC9DGB H-Dry 300 9kg Condenser Tumble Dryer which I do believe is the perfect match for my new washing machine. I actually typed in that model on the Tube to see if I could find a good well-detailed review of it like you do here but had no luck. So I thought well I might as well watch the review of this model as it's got more or less the same functions, especially regarding all the fancy new fan-dangled buttons and programs they have put on the things so they can charge extortionate prices for them 😊😊😊. By watching this demonstration I have to say I am in two minds about whether to buy one. As a matter of fact, there are a few things that put me right off. The first would be the actual cost it would be to dry your washing. I was absolutely shocked by these drying times of over 2 hours and it even goes up to 4 hours. This is going to cost a bomb to dry your clothes and I am actually wondering if these new dryers have any heat in them at all 😊😊😊. No way on this earth does it take that long to dry a full load in my old dryer and as a matter of fact, it's very rare it will even take an hour. For most loads, it only takes 40 minutes. The other things that put me off are all the fancy new fan-dangled buttons and programs they have put in the things. In all honesty, many of these things are pointless and even by looking at how long they actually take to dry your clothes the chances are that they have a lot more chance of breaking down. It appears that you are paying extra for all the new gadgets they have put in the damn things so that they can bleed extra money out of people. All these features are totally unnecessary and all one needs in a dryer is hot air and none of this malarkey.
Superb Video - Very comprehensive and 101% more concise than the manufacturers offerings. On the downside (and this is on NO way a reflection on L.E's content) I have this very machine and it is an absolute let down. It takes way longer that any other dryer I have previously owned, and thus takes a lot more power (to put that comment into context, I had mine attached to an ammeter & scope to measure Exactly how much power it was consuming vs the time taken on various programs, and the findings were far from good compared to the marketing claims) So in summary, great review of a disappointing product. Lesson learned?........ if you pay '£Hoover' don't expect '£Miele'.
I do like the look of this tumble dryer, the water collection on the door is a great idea. There's alot of programmes on there that I personally wouldn't use as I don't tumble bedding (except fitted sheets) or jeans, shirts or woollens but it's great for those that do. I think you forgot to add the link for anyone that would be interested in buying this machine. Very informative as always, thank you 😊
Thank you very helpful i found the symbols very confusing and you are right you keep having to refer to the instructions the guy in the shop made it sound so easy its not too much technology for me so thank you again for your help
Useful video, thanks. I love this dryer and this video is much better than the instruction book! The only thing I'd love to know is which programme dries towels quickly. I've experimented with a few of the programs but none really does the job as well as my old dryer did. Any ideas?
Have a Candy (same manufacturing group as Hoover) dryer that uses this front door container system. So far it’s working really well: simple to use and maintain. Only gripe: if the water container slips and hit floor (mine has!) it cracks really easily. Replacements are easily available, but not cheap - £50-60 a time!
@@msmacker13 My Candy Tumble-dryer is , for now(!) still working so will see how long it lasts but ,TBH, the container emptying is a pain and it has already been 'dropped' on the floor and cracked meaning a 50 quid replacement was needed. Now thinking that I'd go back to a simple, vented model next time as with my large family, we're constantly emptying out the water container!
Bravo! Another excellent video... I would certainly buy the dryer...The name and the appliance is very reliable...Keep up the good work...And you and yours have a good Thanksgiving 👍😉...
The rubber pipe will be to connect to the back of the dryer if you want to connect the dryer to a water waste outlet rather than emptying the water out from the container.
Hi great information on your video. I just had my delivery 🎉 . I wonder why u didn’t cover the hose which comes with the dryer Was asking do I need to use the black hose ?
You don't have to use the hose, it is an option if you want to have the water exit the machine into a waste pipe rather than emptying the water container.
Would NOT recommend one of these Hoover models with the water container is the door. We had our model about 3 years before we replaced it. The water tank would crack every 3-6 months. The water would slowly leak back into the washing making it damp again so would take longer to dry. We replaced 4-5 containers about £15-20 each in the end had enough and brought a new dryer. Hoover would not do anything even with in guarantee as they said it wasn't a 'mechanical part'. The shop did replace it with their floor model once though. There are other people who had same issue if you Google it.
Had the exact same problem, water collection container cracked and leaked everywhere. was also super hot to the touch. Replaced it with a vented machine that works perfectly
Hi I have a Hoover HLEH9A2DE 9 kg heat pump tumble dryer and I have noticed that the vent at the front never seems to get hot or even warm? Should this not get warm? Have you got any videos about this model, please?
Heat pump dryers don't generate much heat so I shouldn't worry if its not getting warm at the front. As long as its drying everything OK just keep going with it
It isn't really recommended to put a dryer on top of a washer if the washer is not stable and able to spin properly without moving a lot. I would try and level the washing machine up first to see if that helps.
Not too sure about Demo mode but it could be the Child lock is on? If it is then press the 2 buttons under the display for a about 2 seconds and that should unlock the machine and disable the child lock
Same problem no it's not child lock and it's stuck and nothing is on the user manual. I am desperate. Can anybody help with this demo mode deactivation?😢

Mr Lord, I watch your channel......well done!......Question- was given a gift Dyson V7 Allergy only about 40 uses, now wont charge will Dyson replace it?......thank you, Rick
Thank you for the kind feedback. Dyson won't normally replace an item especially after several uses as most times it should be able to be repaired. Ideally contact Dyson direct to discuss the options and to see how they can help.
Hi. My candy heat pump did that when it was brand new back in may 2021. Once you keep using it a lot the banging stops and gets less loud. Basically like how brushed washers are always loud when you first get it and then they get quieter after a lot of use
My 15 year old dryer took 1 hr and 10 minutes to do a load. This dryer takes FOUR HOURS AND SEVEN MINUTES. The heat that comes out of it heats the whole house. I have had it for a day, tried several settings. It took over 9 hours to dry Three LOADS and i pray AO will refund me and take it back. This is not fast. It is certainly not energy efficient either.

Worst dryer ive had takes more than double the time my old vented dryer took, machine gets Very hot but doesn't dry clothes Very fast, its rated as 9kg,but nearly every programme is recommended for lighter load's bar 4,, clothes still damp so the moisture sensor is rubbish, do not buy it you'll regret it after a Day of using it
Why on earth would you need a wifi enabled tumble dryer, we have one of these and it tries to connect to wifi, that's crazy the world has gone mad surely.
These are not normally too bad, sometimes it can make a difference on the flooring material it's on. If it is very noisy, there may be a fault with it though.
Sounds like the manufacturers are working hand in glove with the energy companies takes twice as long or... (two and a half times longer) to dry clothes than the older condenser models, claims of energy saving? Mmmh worked it out on the energy meter these newer models require more energy in the long run, waste of money.
I've just bought my first hoover condenser dryer & I have a lot more knowledge of what each button & cycle does. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much. Just brought this dryer and was so cunfused by the settings. But not now 🙏

The rubber pipe will be to connect to the back of the dryer if you want to connect the dryer to a water waste outlet rather than emptying the water out from the container.

Help I have no idear how to use the dryer without using the app it wont let me
You should still be able to use the dryer on its own without the app.
Very good at explaining
the spin cycle shakes to the point where we cannot put a dryer on top of it. Any suggestions?
It isn't really recommended to put a dryer on top of a washer if the washer is not stable and able to spin properly without moving a lot. I would try and level the washing machine up first to see if that helps.
I purchased this dryer recently really Happy with it but wanted to ask what the sponge on the back is for looks like it's glued on. thanks.
That normally helps with the insulation so just leave it in place when you get the dryer
How do you reset the machine when all lights are flashing ?
A useful video but maybe let us have a demo to see how loud the dryer is.
You forgot to leave the link below I'm guessing.
But water is at the bottom when tray at the top so need to wipe it up when clear the filter 🤔
