These pins do not react like normal pins. They remind me of the insane baseball bats that were legal for awhile, then became illegal because the coefficient of restitution (rebound of ball off the bat) was way too high, causing a dangerous situation for pitchers and corner infielders. I cannot see how these pins can be legal. Maybe part of the action was due to well delivered bowling balls, perfect pin decks and the best side walls possible. Your videos are excellent! Keep it up.
@raymondarata6549 I agree, the pin action is very active and unpredictable. I like how you mention the coefficient of restitution as the collision and rebound of the pins off the kickbacks were very strong compared to other pin analysis videos. (Also why I try to stick with lane 24 in all these videos to conserve the accuracy of the analysis) Makes me wonder if other variables are slightly off such as moment of inertia, center of mass, etc.
Man that pin action is definitely unique. They sound so odd and high pitched, definitely makes it known that they are synthetic. I would love to try bowling on something like these sometime, just to watch the pins fly around! Great video!
Blaster pins were actually Twister experimenting with a base ring versus their one piece design. If you ever bowled on the original Twisters, the pins slid horribly
@@Spontaneousanonymous000 lol that has nothing to do with putting pins in the machines. I bowl here often, and the people who work here know me - non-anonymous spontaneous bowler
Don't know what is worse; the 5-pin or the whiff at 8:00. Time for people to eat me alive now with that comment. I really want to try the PBA Gold Pins sometime.
Hey there pindominator I got a few pins of my own and I haven’t been able to get them in some pinsetters in awhile, it would be awesome to do something with ya!
Those pins don't sound real. To me, they sound even more strange than Twister pins. Kinda reminds me of the sound the pins made in the old bowling game "Skittles".
I personally think bowling centre's should get synthetic pins as it could save them money on wooden pins but I can also see the bad effects of synthetic bowling pins

Always loved DBA products
Use vultex ii variant a bowling pins + 1 gold vultex or you can choose new blaster (please tell us how did you get them?)
Nice!

These pins for me noticeably have higher pitch then regular twister pins. And the pin action was enchanted better then twisters less 8 pins and 9 pins
Hey, someone else noticed the sound difference! Yeah, the pitch is higher than even the brick twisters!
Dang, I wish I was famous enough to get to put whatever pins in my bowling alley-anonymous bowler from spontaneous anonymous

I haven't seen anything from DBA since the '70s!

@Greggys10Pins xD both hurt!
do you guys think twister pins was originally branded as blaster pins?
i bet these pins are rare as hell! keep up the content :)
I never seen a bowling pin like that
I never seen those pins before fully synthetic?
You were 5 pins away from my high score in bowling a 252
@@ryanheaton1067 yup, these are fully synthetic!

These look like the early version of Twister’s.
@@TH-camBowlersTour Was thinking these could be Twister test pins.
The pins sound like lego bricks being dropped on the ground
They sound like miniature bowling pins
They sound a bit like your Lego pins.
These pins sound like Twisters (sort of)
