I did something somewhat similar, although I plan to try this recipe. What I did with mine was freeze the recipe in silicone molds, then when frozen I removed from the molds and stored in a container in the freezer. When I go to shower I just grab the number of pieces I want and by the time I'm ready to use it they are thawed enough to use. No wait time. No forgetting to take the bottle out early enough. The molds I use were shaped like a coffee bean, probably closer to the size of a couch drop. Convenient to grab the amount you want or to experiment with a different amount of pieces to see what works for your hair.
Watched NowIAmNappy let the fenugreek absorb and expand on its own before mixing with other herbs. Great way to prevent adding too much with realizing it.
Hello, I am looking for AN EASY way to try Fenugreek (moisture) and cassia (help loosen curl patterns). This video looks like it could be the answer. Thank you! Could you please clarify if this DIY recipe can replace the shampoo or if shampoo is still required on wash day.
Some herbs should be mixed then added separately , I learned to do this years ago when I first started my herbal journey. I relate it to cooking , when making stews for example, some items require more cooking time so I would add the lesser cooking time items later on when the meats are almost done. Also depending on how much of the powders I'm using , well usually I use a mask on my face when using the powders until it's mixing time. I'm very sensitive to the fine dust. Also I don't wear a towel, I use a cape when applying the products, when I'm done , I lay the cape out or put in the shower or tub and just simply run water to rinse it off and hang to drip dry. EASY!! Note: Time is important to me so I use a mixing wand. Instead of by hand.
Hello, thank you for this video. Im a subscriber. I'm Constantly ordering alot of your products. I love all your products-( to much to list what i order). The main products I always purchase is your henna and indigo for my stubborn grey hair- (and it works covering my grey hair). In this video do you have the products already mixed together for sale for people that doesn't have time to mix together. I know you have a few of yours products already mixed together. Hello. Make sure to use a strong shower head to ensure all of the paste comes out and use our Cleansing CoWash: hennasooq.com/collections/natural-hair-conditioner.
I have blonde hair naturally. Is there a way to achieve a more "purple" tone with light hair as a base? I've noticed most purple/ burgundy tones usually are over a already dark base. Thanks❤
Hey I think I’m starting to understand these herbs but what would I use if my hair was very dirty from protective styling for two months. Would I use regular shampoo?
Since cassia can loosen curls, would it work to add some zizyphus to help retain them? If so, how much would I add to this recipe? My hair is normal to dry, thick, and wavy to curly. I like to retain as much of the waves as I can. Thank you.
Hello. Yes, you may do so. You may refer to our guide right here to help you: hennasooq.com/blogs/frontpage/bring-your-curls-back-to-life-with-this-easy-ayurvedic-hair-recipe. Thank you!
I am purposefully allowing my grey hair to flourish. What might I substitute for the cassia, which I am afraid would turn my greys yellow/blonde? Thanks much.
@@andreahoke9740 yes they are all okay for grey hair but you may want to avoid anything with henna in it as that can color those greys. All hair masks we have are good for type 4 hair BUT if your hair is on the dry side, then do add more moisture and use our Cleansing CoWash to restore moisture afterwards.
Hello, a question, I would like my hair to be very very blue using henna is there a combination that I can use even if I have to keep it in my hair for 10 hours that's fine. My base hair is black with grey streaks off the ears areas. I have never colored my hair ever. I thank you for any help.
@@HennaSooq I'm assuming that the gray hairs will be blue or blueish and the rest of the hair will be blackish blue. There is also reddish tones at the tips will go green, if so I am cool with that. I apprentice your time and information, thank you
Wil Cassia add color to my ash grey hair? I don't want to cover my grey....I LOVE my grey but I've see on the internet that Cassia will add gold tones to your hair. Gold tones added to Ash Grey hair with make it more blonde and not silver. If I add Cassia to Fenugreek, will it add color to my grey??
I recently did a Diy fenugreek mask blending the seeds, added 2 bananas and aloe and it gave me slip for my mask . After inreinsed it my hair felt hard, stiff and nit very noisturized. So idk of it was the recipe or if im just severly protein sensitve to it .
The seeds aren't as concentrated as the powder form. Bananas can be good but maybe add more aloe and use only 1 banana. You'll get more moisture from the powder form of fenugreek. Also you may need to use hair oils in it as well or even better honey next time.
Hello. For dandruff, we highly recommend our natural shampoos hennasooq.com/collections/natural-shampoo and natural conditioners hennasooq.com/collections/natural-hair-conditioner. We hope this helps!
The recipe:

Thanks for sharing!! That def sounds neat
This looks so beneficial for my hair. I’m going to make it but I will not strain it. I’ll use it as a hair mask under a steamer ❤
With a steamer this will be even better!
How would you use it this way? Apply the mask while the steamer is going then wear a conditioning cap afterwards?

Is this in place of a reg shampoo? If so, is this for both a hair cleanser and conditioner?

Would this be easy to wash out of locs? I need a whole series on loc'd hair, especially moiture and strength!
Hello. Make sure you have a very strong shower head so you can ensure it all comes out.
Hey I think I’m starting to understand these herbs but what would I use if my hair was very dirty from protective styling for two months. Would I use regular shampoo?
Yes. Always clarify after protective styling. Multiple times if you used added hair-they’re loaded with toxic chemicals.

Hello I was wondering if you can add fenugreek powder to your henna dye application? The kind of application where you want to cover your gray hair?
Yes you can add a very small amount so as to not dilute the henna hair color.
I wish we could see application and before after on a person.
If you don’t have Cassia & Shikaka what can you replace it with?
Zizyphus and Aritha
Will the cassia penetrate strands if used s a cleanser on dirty hair or should i cowash before using?
it can possibly penetrate and even dye a golden tint
Dear I saw the fenugreek but the other 2 ingredients I missed...Thanks for sending
Cassia and shikakai
I know you always preach mixing herbs with warm distilled water but can I mix with rose water? Can rose water be heated?
Hello. Yes, you may do so.
Be sure to heat rose water double boiler style though!@@HennaSooq

if it's a diy cleanser then an herb that's very cleansing like shikakai with a lot of conditioner or moisturizer. The above is basically that :)
