Hey. Thank you. Good explanations. One more thing this sometimes lazy person does with it, when I don't want to get my cappuccino maker out, is froth milk. Open the vent first, microwave your milk, pour in and whir. Steamed frothed milk. One more thing- my royal laziness only deep cleans it every third or so use. Otherwise I put water in maybe 1/4 way up, a tiny drop of dishwashing soap, whir, empty and rinse. Dry completely. Thank you for this excellent discussion!
Found one today at Goodwill and I couldn’t open it but I figured it out by myself anyway while your preparing for your smoothie. 👍
Glad I ran across this, they just had a huge sale at DG and this appliance and a few others were on sale for 5 bucks each.. yay! I bought 2 since they were so affordable at the time
I've had one of these for at least three years and it still works good.
Okay just used it for the first time, have to admit..it blends beautifully, my smoothie is great, BUT the black lid is stuck, my husband is taking a nap....lol and I even disturbed him to have him open it up for me to no avail. My hubby is strong and I mean damn strong as am I; it won't open, so it's soaking right now in hot bubbly soapy water. Let's see if that works to help it unglue itself, hope we didn't strip the cheap plastic threads....as far as the results, once again I give it a thumbs up for sure. I want a Blend Jet 2 but I don't shop online and here in T.O. I can't locate it within a store. Oh well, this works! 👍🏻👍🏻
Today's my birthday and my husband gave me one of these as a gift; I am about to try it right now but watched your video first; thank you for posting this. Love the frozen berry tip; that's a great idea because I was thinking of hauling, ice, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc. to my office....LOL...okay it's first time smoothie attempt.
I purchased this for our second home at a thrift store. We've have a couple days of smoothies and I love the ease of use and outcome. By the way it was $3 at the thrift store!

I have the blendjet. Use it for grinding flax seeds and emulsifying salad. This is the Hamilton Beach personal blender.
Can this be used for making making hollendaise sauce, which calls for slowly adding adding melted bitter to blending egg yokes, for eggs benedict, etc?
Why does mine not work?
My new toast master can not push the one-touch pulse. I bought it last year and this year I use it but it does not work.
My concern is that you didn't clean it before blending. All kitchen appliances especially blenders need a thorough cleaning before using. Didnt you notice the new chemical smell when open the box?
how do you know he didn't clean it? There was a break between opening and using.
What if i wanted to make home made PESTO?

I wouldn't have pressed the button full on at the beginning with anything frozen it's best just to pulse it a bit on and off the button.

I just bought this same blender brand new at my local goodwill for 4.99..
I just put two bananas in mine with a little bit of water and some ice men cinnamon made it top off so far I'm happy with it I just don't know what to use in it
