back to the dumps we go see what doesuth lie below hopefully we get a few hits cos no one wants to just go home with shit 😆💚 enjoy #metaldetecting #xterrapro #history #flint #medieval #silver #fossils that's enough hash
Wow what a load of finds and you must have the record for the most buttons in one session, the round item that you said maybe furniture fitting looks like a decorative leather mount probably for horse tack, and it still has the bent mounting pin on the back. Congratulations on the almost silver bullhead, and you right there must have been loads of people forging George 111 silver coins back then, I have found nearly as many forgeries as genuine ones. The copper alloy forgeries were normally covered in a very thin silver wash and I imagine they looked perfect when freshly "coined". Since Wendy had been detecting with me, we have found more genuine bullheads that fakes lol All the best from Wendy and Jon. 🤟🤟🤟🤟
belemnite, ways nice things to find... and your second one does seem to have a flattened side, similar to the one I found... first flint it defo struck flake, possible retouch, second I'd say is retouch on a natural flake/potlid... anyway, great vid dude, button moon tastic
some nice finds enjoyed the video
Thanks mukka hope your digging well up there 💚
