I find when something keeps repeating in my life it’s because it’s a message I need to take notice of, so perhaps your fob watches are a message for you. Perhaps something that’s near to your heart that you may feel you’ve lost over time, or don’t have time for, or need to make the time for. They’ll be some connection there about time for sure hope you work it out. Keep up the great work x

Happy new year to you too. The ASC is a shoulder badge and is from WW1 as in WW2 they had the Royal added to become RASC, nice find from 1914/18.

It looks to be something they would stick in the flower plant and put water in to feed the plant slowly

Excellent Christmas adventures and loads of fossils, the flap is a Gryphaea bi-valve lid as you rightly said, we used to collect loads of them when we took our 3 children fossil hunting at Hock Cliff on the River Severn and we found some giant ones we nick named "big Bertha's" and a lot of them still had the flap intact and attached when they were washed out of the soft shale/mud layers, that ammonite is a belter with crystalised calcite chambers. Some lovely finds still coming off the medieval meadow, there must have been a lot of activity over the years on that land, and may be good idea to let the museum have look at the possible white queen mount, and that gold ring is a belter and even 22ct and looks a lovely buttery colour.
