Hi, it will be great if you show how the gasket looks like, because im overhauling Yanmar 2T75L. With alternate sleeve, its higher than block 0.4mm, wondering if its okay. please advise, thank you. Great video!

First of all, thank you for watching my video and
I am sorry i don't have an experience of Yanmar 2T75L model.
I recommend that check the length from block to liner prior to disassembly and check the length again after re-assembly.
I think if the measurement is no difference or a little bit, probably there is no problem.

Many thanks ! Very good work ! Please tell me how much wear on the cylinder liner has to be in order to replace it? And how much will it be in operating hours? Thanks !

I am so sorry you are waiting long time.
i am onboard at present. Therefore i can’t answer at the time. i am sorry for it again.
At the renewal time, the cylinder liner wear-down was 0.38~0.45 (limit 0.3mm) and total running hours 15,000 and almost 8 years since delivery. Normally, 3 sets of Dynamo Engine are installed on ship.
We did dismantled No.1 D/E pistons according to PMS (every 8,000) and found a lot of cylinder wear-down. However, Cylinder liner spare was not enough. I supposed that the other D/E Cylinder condition is probably same condition . Anyhow i report the measurement and just assembled No.1 D/E piston at the time
2 months later we received 12 sets of cyl. liner and started replacement.
