The Star Wars: The Clone Wars iceberg is INSANE, and reveals the deepest and darkest secrets of the Star Wars canon, that have gone yet undiscovered...
3:42 I love how George writing one height joke in Revenge of the Sith meant Dave Filoni had to spend 12 years making sure Anakin and Grevious never met
You're probably thinking of Palpatines VA, Ian Abercromie, who passed away during season 5's production and was replaced by Tim Curry. Christopher Lee didn't pass away until after the show was canceled, and he only voiced Dooku in the movie. Corey Burton voiced Dooku in the series itself.
To be fair, before episode 1 even came out Lucas tried to have a book made that would have linked all of his movies into a single cohesive timeline. So I am not surprised that Indy is canon.
This was my childhood, I’ve watched the series of 7 times. The way the whole story line ties in with Easter eggs and everything is insane. Bad batch analysis soon?
The Republic Propaganda Theory works better to describe the 2003 Clone Wars Micro-Series. The Jedi are almost invincible, the action scenes are very exagerated, and Grievous is portrayed differently. Mike Chen (author of Star Wars Brotherhood) said that his headcanon is that the micro-series is sort of a anime adaptation of some real events.
Agreed. Grevious being an unstoppable Jedi-Killer but conveniently stopped in his tracks by a few arc troopers is just what the Republic needs to justify spending more of their budget on Kamino cloning.
Was it ever commented on why Matthew wood changed the Grievous voice between ROTS and clone wars? Idk how to describe it but it just sounds a lot scratchier and higher in the show
Dude I completely agree I noticed that too. He also had a more Eastern European sound in his voice that he doesn’t really have in the clone wars. He sounds more American in the show which makes sense since Matthew Wood is. Maybe the reason his voice gets more scratchy and less high pitched is because some of the 2003 Tarkovsky clone wars is canon. The final arc of the clone wars semi canonized it because they talk about Chancellor Palpatine getting kidnapped by Grievous and that Mace Windu reported Shaak Ti missing. In the old 2003 series the reason why Grievous originally started coughing was because Mace Windu collapsed his lungs. It’s at least canon that Mace Windu and Grievous had a brief battle minutes before revenge of the sith
I’m so glad to have discovered Star Wars. Not so glad as to how the fandom turned out. It’s always nice to hear about the lore and to see it come to life through animations and other media projects. I’m honestly hoping warhammer with Cavill gets a similar treatment (in terms of media projects) since most of lore is tucked away in hundreds of novels.
Also it tells the backstory of the Rebellion Y-wing model on how it served during the Clone Wars before it got stripped-down and heavily modified into the iconic Rebel original trilogy look.
What they could've done to bring in Revan in the Mortis arc was instead of the force ghost guiding the Son The son should've just reflected on the past Sith and their accomplishments during his venting session Of course he could just say it but he could also project them
Growing up with prequels and clone wars in my op is the peak version of Star Wars. We got so much extra lore and comics / books during that time too. now a lot of that is made legends or whatever…😢
That was a fun Star Wars video overall. Definitely different from the usual. So many cool little facts and details that I had no idea about to begin with. Some more obvious than others.
Grievous was not in a fatal accident caused by the sith, that is the legends story. In canon he wishes to become a greater warrior by upgrading himself with cybernetics until there isnt much of him left.
The Clone Wars character design was based off the puppets in Thunderbirds which is why their heads are larger than real life, the sharp edges to them is what comes from the 2003 series
Whilst I love the 2003 version, that is a far more likely candidate for propaganda than the 2008 one. By hyping up Grevious, the Republic can make him seem more scary and justify buying more clone troopers, starships etc. In the 2003 clone wars, we also never get any self-reflection on if the Republic are bad. It spends its whole time glorifying Jedi and Arc Troopers.
There are actually a few different "ways to watch" the show, depending on what your viewing goal is. I'll be dropping a video on this shortly, hopefully that can help
Star wars The clone wars is the best animation of all time l love the animated from 2003 2008 And animation Bad batch series animation tales of the Jedi and tales of the empire animation star wars is the best animation of all time
9:22 The shuttle sabotage part of the story isnt canon and thank god for that, as stated in the show Grievous chose to become a cyborg, slowly augmenting his body with machinery over time
@@ultrabigfella Season 1 Lair of Grievous but it comes back in later seasons too We see statues of Grievous before his transformation as a Kaleesh warrior, slowly augmenting his body with cybernetics. This culminates with this exchange he has with his droid doctor "Sometimes I wonder why you submitted to these changes" "IMPROVEMENTS! I chose them, I submit to no one!"
why couldn't Revan be a force ghost if he was good then bad then good again? I mean anakin was able to turn into a force ghost and it showed bane as well so why didnt they think it would be a good idea
3:41 umm they pay very good attention to the source material wtf you talking about? 😂 People always say kenobi breaks cannon but it doesn’t at all and fills in some gaps
I don’t know enough about 2003 fans to judge but it sounds like you’re getting the Propaganda Theory reversed. 2008 Clone Wars was darker and more violent and the 2003 show had elements that don’t add up in canon like Clones jousting Droids.
Both 2008 and 2003 CWs are cartoon network content and 2003 show has pratically every bit of brutality the 2008 had.Oh and nah.The TCW is propaganda theory came out first.
I love the Clone Wars but can we STOP pretending that it isn't a Kids show? It clearly is. It's not really graphic, most of the action is against droids (who are rarely portrayed as scary) and the dialogue is goofy. Kid's show does not mean bad. It's a great show, and it is also for kids. (Like many other animations, e.g. pixar movies).
I never understood why "Clone Wars" made Anakin look older than Obi-Wan and gave Dooku an 18-inch-long face. The tube top and mini skirt on a 13-year-old Ahsoka seems like a Lucas idea, though.
3:42 I love how George writing one height joke in Revenge of the Sith meant Dave Filoni had to spend 12 years making sure Anakin and Grevious never met
A lot of garbage could've been avoided if GL just spend more than 2 weeks writing each movies
Yet they still made anakin and dooku meet multiple times, even after the line “I’ve doubled my power since we’ve last met.”
And we can recall the meeting of Obi-Wan with Vader when he said that he was not his apprentice. And we see the Kenobi series.
@@andynachos2045 that doesn’t necessarily mean from atoc tho. Although it is insinuated.
@@Enteryourssn Why would his power double from like last week when the clone wars is happening?
“Attention Sergeant on deck!”
“Cmon troopers on the double ! “
That's Geetsly!
Christopher Lee sadly passed and that’s why his legendary voicing skills were absent for the later seasons - RIP Sir Christopher a legend

Christopher Lee passed in 2015, well into the shows run. You're definitely thinking of Palpatine's VA.

I headcanon both of them being propaganda, or in universe retellings based on real events.

7:16 Also the Sankara Stones from Temple of Doom too, they can be seen in the backroom of Luthens' relic shop in 'Andor' Season 1.

I mean there was also that comic where Indy and Short Round find the Millennium Falcon, Chewbacca, and Han Solo’s corpse

You have the propaganda theory backwards. 2003 show was the propaganda while the 2008 is how it actually was.
that actually makes a ton more sense. mace windu fist fighting droids is the perfect way to beef up the jedi image lol

Who here just for the LEGO?
I heard the 3D clone wars art style was also inspired by this british show from the 60's called thunderbirds that was made with puppets
do you have a link to the iceberg?
