No. I've played pretty much every Terminator game. Of the non-arcade T2 game I actually think the Gameboy game is the best of those and even it IMO is worse then this. So was the Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines game they've covered before on the show most of the T1 based games, and a couple of the 90s PC games.
Yes and no. From personal experience the NES and Game Boy games were actually pretty good but the 16-bit versions were hot garbage. The ZX Spectrum version also reviewed well (ports to other systems not so much) but I’ve never played it so 🤷

Or people can do what I do and let others choose whichever they like as their favourite. Me? The Terminator films are okay, but not even among my favourite movies so I rank the first two equally, and the rest below that.
Not changing your mind, dude. Arnold was FAR better as a villain. It makes NO sense to make an infiltration unit into a massive Hulk with a THICK austrian accent, but it's COOL! And nothing tops the twist with Kyle being Johns dad. Probably a cliche these days, but The Terminator did it early. I think the oldest movie I've seen do this paradox was the third Planet Of The Apes movie.
I agree, I still think the first one is the best; as with the first RoboCop, which came out a few years after Terminator, it has that undeniable sleazy 80’s charm, that I love about that whole era of filmmaking. You can’t beat a bit 80’s sleaze haha.

Yeeeaahhh I think back then I just completed this to get all those gold trophies and an easy platinum. It wasn't awful at the time but very forgettable and not great for sure.
I talked to a Q&A tester for this game on SomethingAwful who told me on their lunch breaks they would speed run this game and managed to finally break it to under hour runs because they knew the game was so short they could easily do it. It was a running joke over there just how short the game was.
You already covered one Terminator game I think is worse then this (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines for PS2) on this show and there are many Terminator games I think are worse then both so I find the idea of anyone claiming this is the worst game ever laughable. Salvation is IMO the best of the post T2 Terminator movies. I remember watching T2 on VHS during a sleepover at a childhood friend's house when I was eight and wanting more War against the Machines content. So I was very happy when we finally got an all War Against the Machines movie just in time to be my twenty-fifth birthday movie with friends and family but unfortunately after that they regressed to the time travel plot.. Edit: As for why Skynet uses humanoid machines its probably because a humanoid machine can get into the same places as a human so they can get into our hiding places easier. Edit 2: I've seen every Terminator movie, the TV series, the Machinma series (Which was made using this game's engine), read many of the comics, all the Terminator novels I know of, and played all, or almost all of the games. I don't remember flying Terminators. So if they show up in the next movie we know who to blame. Also the Terminators in the pre-Salvation movies were more advanced models so taking out their vehicles slowed them down but it didn't finish them off. The Arnolds in the first two movies are T-800 while the third is a T-850. And the Liquid metal Terminators are T-100s while the T-3 Skynet Terminator is a T-X but is clearly either a successor to the T-1000 or maybe a model between the T-800 and the T-1000 (It uses a conventional Endoskeleton with built in weapons but has a layer of the liquid metal used for the T-1000. (The T3 novelization states its a post 1000 model but the movies never do and both the X and 1000 have enough advantages over the other that IMO either could be the later design)
If you’ve ever watched this show before then you should know the slogan is “They’re not the worst games, just worst than most.” They’ve never tried to argue any of the games are actually “the worst game ever” (check out Matt McMuscles’ Worst Fighting Game series for that kind of content), they don’t even try to objectively review the games. And what do your thoughts on the movie have to do with the game? You start off all “How DARE you claim this is the worst game ever” (even though they didn’t) then proceed to talk about how much you liked the movie, as if being the least worst post-T2 sequel has anything to do with the game.
I had fun with this game, start to finish, better than the average of AAA games. Then again TripleJump will make a video called "gamings biggest moments" while preaching about how innocent and good Anita Sarkeesian is and gamers are mean bullies. Yeh, yous are damn out-of-touch or at the very least ignorant when it suits.
And yet you still are subbed and watch. lol. That said the game has average of just about a 5 out of 10. That is not "good", that fits into worst games ever.

I thought the footage of it looked good but I haven’t gotten around to getting it at least not yet.. Then again I kinda got my hands full with the other one called Resistance.. Terminator is my fav sci fi film btw
And I'm the video watcher.
Bring back Dick Mychenko!
Sarah Connor Chronicles was the last good Terminator content, and they cancelled it on a cliffhanger. :(
The first Terminator is the best Terminator. T2 is good, but I grew up in the 80s. Go ahead, change my mind.
Or people can do what I do and let others choose whichever they like as their favourite.
Me? The Terminator films are okay, but not even among my favourite movies so I rank the first two equally, and the rest below that.
@@oxymoron02 " not even among my favourite movies"
Then why do you even care? WTF bro? You got no dog in this race.
Terminator 1 walked so the sequel could run. I was born in 87 though so I guess there's that.
I agree, I still think the first one is the best; as with the first RoboCop, which came out a few years after Terminator, it has that undeniable sleazy 80’s charm, that I love about that whole era of filmmaking.
You can’t beat a bit 80’s sleaze haha.
I almost I think be almost beat Terminator salvation for PS3 been in Peter, but I didn’t have codes. I looked for coach shark card codes and I thought they had them but I guess they don’t like him his heart even on like easy and you don’t even get enough like extra lives are weapons.
Not the worst game ever but one of the best games ever to get an easy 1000g gamerscore.
Remember when Machinima tried to make a series using the game?
I remember renting this with another game can't remember a thing so probably was that bad I only played the other game
Yeeeaahhh I think back then I just completed this to get all those gold trophies and an easy platinum. It wasn't awful at the time but very forgettable and not great for sure.
I have the plat too, not a fun time.
Obligatory comment - how do you know John Cena wasn't in Godzilla x Kong?
....I have the platinum for this 😬
There wasn’t much hope for this game, considering the movie was a turd too
Yeah, I heard how bad the movie was. If the movie was a trainwreck, then why they'd bother making an even worse game about it?
I talked to a Q&A tester for this game on SomethingAwful who told me on their lunch breaks they would speed run this game and managed to finally break it to under hour runs because they knew the game was so short they could easily do it. It was a running joke over there just how short the game was.
Johnochron Connercal.
Thanks captain obvious 😊
If you’ve ever watched this show before then you should know the slogan is “They’re not the worst games, just worst than most.” They’ve never tried to argue any of the games are actually “the worst game ever” (check out Matt McMuscles’ Worst Fighting Game series for that kind of content), they don’t even try to objectively review the games. And what do your thoughts on the movie have to do with the game? You start off all “How DARE you claim this is the worst game ever” (even though they didn’t) then proceed to talk about how much you liked the movie, as if being the least worst post-T2 sequel has anything to do with the game.
It's not B3RT13
It's 83R-713
Don’t know why, but our boys are looking extra hot these days! 😉
maybe with all the patreon money you could buy some new controllers??
This game was mint easy platinum
wherefore means why...just saying :)
This was my first game for my ps3 :(
This is my favorite Terminator Game Bro😢
WGE
fisrt
Watch more films for real lads 😂😂
Peter & Ben have the worst taste in film. Are Crap Wars & MCU the only movies they watch?
Not worthy of worst games ever, its actually not bad at all.
👽
I had fun with this game, start to finish, better than the average of AAA games. Then again TripleJump will make a video called "gamings biggest moments" while preaching about how innocent and good Anita Sarkeesian is and gamers are mean bullies.
Yeh, yous are damn out-of-touch or at the very least ignorant when it suits.
And yet you still are subbed and watch. lol. That said the game has average of just about a 5 out of 10. That is not "good", that fits into worst games ever.
Just worse than most

Game is average at worst. I'm ready to unsubscribe from this channel for this nonsense.
