In 2 weeks they already wai ved the biometrics (because they used the fingerprints and the pictures they already had because I have asylum) they also waived the interview, I'm already on the last step, I can't believe this, I just followed step by step what you explained in your videos. I watched your videos at least 7 times each to make sure my documents were correct hahahhaha, thanks a lot. I am a widow and the mother of a US citizen who is eligible to petition me for green card. I am living in my native country outside of the US, but I have an active tourist visa which I use to visit him here in the US every year for the past several years. I have never overstayed because I always stayed with my son for a period of only 1 to 3 months. If this time, my son wants to file Form I-130 for me after I was widowed, should he wait for 90 days before filing his petition for me? I arrived in December 2024 using my Tourist visa. Since my son now wants me to stay with him here in the US longer, he plans to file Forms I-130 and I-485 concurrently so we can be together. Does the 90-day rule for tourists still apply to this day? I will appreciate your reply.

Hello, we submitted the I-130 yesterday and we where ready to submit the i- 485 today but we got a notice saying they received the application and we have a IOE number but we have not gotten the complete the receipt notice in the website. So how can we address this so we can file concurrently. We wanted to send the I485 2 days after the I 130 to avoid processing delays. How can I fix this ? Do I have to contact immigration services?

Hi Kseniya, I cannot find my passport with my visa that used to enter the country, it’s been expired for a while now, I do remember the passport number but not the expiration date of the passport or visa, I do however have my I 94 which I was able to retrieve from the website, will it be a problem for my son the petition for me without those details, he’s a born US citizen in the US military? Hi. Used the new I-485 application and filled out the exempt for Affidavit of Support. Provided the required evidence of the 40 quarters with the application. Today I received "Request for Evidence" and they are asking for I-864 Affidavit of Support form. Do I submit the I-864W since it is accepted until February 10th? Thank you!

Hello, I downloaded the document in my Mac and this is what I'm getting: "'i-485.pdf' is protected. Please enter a Document Open Password." I did not create any password and password for my Mac doesn't work either
I had the similar issue. Since it's a gov form they are encrypted. You have to delete that and download again. One suggestion, I did my application on mac too. Please make sure you check your papers after filling the applications because there were so many textfields that were empty on paper and they were fine on my mac. Try to use adobe acrobat you can get a free trial for 7 days. Fill the application within 7 days and then cancel your subscription. I hot RFE because of this issue

You should find the receipt notice (Form I-797C) available for download as a PDF.but we have not gotten anything.

You have to select “yes” and on the additional page you can put “ overstayed visa”

Hi kisenya, i have a question about my initial application of I-485 being denied but we already re filed last year (june 2024) and still pending as of now. They provide me an employment card for my first application that was denied. So my question is do i need to re apply for I-765 and I-131 again for this recent application? I’m so confused and conerned because it might be the case why it has been delayed.

I do have a question on part 4 section 7 it states to provide All employment and education history and then it list to included unemployment etc. So if my spouse is currently unemployed should I put that first or should I start with the school he was attending. since in the video you wee giving an example of a student visa.
@@bryant1150 if he’s currently unemployed, then start with that. If he’s in school now, then he’s a student.

1) Employer or School (current or most recent)
2) Name of Employer, Company, or School
Should we provide the same response in both fields (e.g., "Company Inc.") or differentiate them, such as:
1) Current Employer
2) Company Inc.?

1) "employer"
2) "company name"
I think for the first one you have to say if it is an employer or a school, and the second one you give the name of the school or employer

Hello, I downloaded the document in my Mac and this is what I'm getting: "'i-485.pdf' is protected. Please enter a Document Open Password." I did not create any password and password for my Mac doesn't work either
I had the similar issue. Since it's a gov form they are encrypted. You have to delete that and download again. One suggestion, I did my application on mac too. Please make sure you check your papers after filling the applications because there were so many textfields that were empty on paper and they were fine on my mac. Try to use adobe acrobat you can get a free trial for 7 days. Fill the application within 7 days and then cancel your subscription. I hot RFE because of this issue
