Hi Kseniya. I hope you can help me with this question that surely more people have. How long can I wait before I move to the USA once my complete process has been completed? For now my USCIS Form I-130 has been submitted. I know it will take time and more steps to complete before being fully allowed to move to the US, but my situation has changed and possibly I will not be ready to move to the US as soon as hoped to. Possibly I will have to delay the date I will be moving to the US, hence my question: How long will I be allowed to wait before I move to the USA after my complete process has been completed? Will my process expire if I don't move right away and have to start all over again? Thank you
Thank you for making it so easy. Besides, your voice has a calming effect which also helps to understand the complicated forms and processes of the USCIS. People who spread knowledge freely, like yourself, are what makes the world go round smoothly. May you get rewarded from where you don't expect.
Kseniya, Thank you for sharing your knowledge, understanding and experience about immigration forms. Following your videos I filed out the I-130 and I-485 for my mother in law, your videos and all the content you have was critical for me in order not to make mistakes, thank you again and I wish you the best!
34:39 the question asks "What is your relationship to this relative?" and if you are referring to your father, you should answer "Parent" because the question is asking how you are related to the person whose name you provided.
Hi Kseniya, I hope everything is well with you and thank you so much for very informative video you’ve shared to us. I have a question on I-130 for parents. I have submitted my petitions to USCIS for both of my parents however I forgot to add my name as one of their children on “beneficiary’s family”. I just realized it now that I should have put my name too together with my two siblings. Is there any way to correct it or add my name on it or should I wait for the USCIS if they requires/ask for it? Thank you so much! 😊
Hi! I just filed a petition for my minor kids yesterday, and I think I made a mistake by skipping the part where they are asking for my employment history. I've put on unemployed on the first child but skipped that part when I was doing it for my 2nd child. 😢 Initially I thought it should be fine because it isn't marked with asterisk but now I'm worried knowing I've made a mistake. To be honest, I was rushing because I was doing childcare to my babies. Please don't judge me and please advice me on what should I do to correct that.
Thank you for the guideline. Wondering for the question `Have you EVER previously filed a petition for this beneficiary or any other alien?` If it's my first time applying for my parents, should one of the I130 answer `YES` and the other one answer `No` for this question?
What if the parents have a 13-year-old kid? do they have to leave their kid behind if they are approved for the visa? and how if the parents have two petitioners (Brothers) in the US, is there any way to combine their petitions in one application? Thanks.
Awesome video! Is it safe to write maiden name and married name in the Family Name slot? My mother uses both eg: Mary Smith-Brown. When it asks for other name used do you put only the maiden name since that’s what would have been used as a child?
for the beneficiary's family, what if the spouse is deceased, do you need to list there? You mentioned deceased children will not be required to be listed, what about the spouses?
Hi Kseniya, thanks for all your videos! Do I need to submit any passport size photos with online I-130 for my parents? Information all over internet are very confusing. Thanks! Eva
Hello, Kseniya! As for the question "Where in the US does the beneficiary intend to live?", normally, you would provide the address where the Petitioner, the US citizen, currently lives in the US. However, what is the petitioner does not live in the US and her parents are not US citizens, who live in a foreign country, and do not have any family ties to the country? I am in this conundrum right now. I was wondering whether it would be acceptable for me just to type in "not yet determined" and then provide an explanation for this, such as: "Currently, I do not live in the US and I grew in Brazil for my whole life. However, since I plan to move to the US soon, I decided to bring my mother with me and for this reason I am petitioning a green card for her. Given these circumstances, I have not provided an address in that section, since this information depends on the result of this petition"
@Kseniya International. Thank you so much for the informative video. I just filled up an I-130 form for my Dad online. For the section " at which USCIS office will the beneficiary apply for adjustment of status...", I first wanted to type N/A on that section. I realized that it is not possible so I chose unknown location and left the state section blank. Then I moved to the next question (At which U.S. Embassy or Consulate location will the beneficiary apply....) and gave complete info of the U.S. Embassy my Dad will go for the interview. I already submitted the form. Do you think it will cause a problem? should I fill up a new form? I appreciate your input.
Can a US citizen son, just turned 21, filed for a petition for his parents, and he is unemployed, but looking for a job or in school. What are the options...

Thanks so much for your helpful and informative videos. My daughter is filing a petition for her father who has lived in US and UK for the past 32 years, and is a UK citizen. The daughter is little over 21 years of age and father has been working in UK and visiting on ESTA (WT status) in US but now filing I-130, I-485 and I-765 and she is living in Houston, Texas. Where should she send the whole petition and application package?

My dad's petition asks to upload parents' marriage certificate, but my mom's petition does not. Is there something wrong or does the system just figure out these 2 beneficiaries are married and only need marriage cert on one petition?

Do you have a video for the STEP PARENT of an over 21 foriegner to bring to the USA via I-130? I just spoke to USCIS and they say I can't fill out I-130, only the biological mother can do this. Though married, the mother is not a US citizen yet and USCIS says this will take 2 years, minimum to achieve citizenship before she can even apply. There has to be a faster way.
Hi I’m also going though the same thing. From my understanding, if you are a US citizen u can file for your step parent as long as they got married before u turned 18 and u have their marriage certificate as evidence

What if parents don’t have marriage contract
Do you have a video for the STEP PARENT of an over 21 foriegner to bring to the USA via I-130? I just spoke to USCIS and they say I can't fill out I-130, only the biological mother can do this. Though married, the mother is not a US citizen yet and USCIS says this will take 2 years, minimum to achieve citizenship before she can even apply.
There has to be a faster way.
Hi I’m also going though the same thing. From my understanding, if you are a US citizen u can file for your step parent as long as they got married before u turned 18 and u have their marriage certificate as evidence
i am petition for my Father using i-130 but USCIS is asking me to provide my Parent's marriage certificate ask me to
Upload a copy of your parents' marriage certificate establishing that your father was married to your mother. If either your mother or father were previously married, submit copies of documents showing that each of the prior marriages was legally terminated should i live it blank
Kseniya, Thank you amazing video. I do have a question. Can I use my USA driver license as proof of name change and my country' of birth original passport?

Thank you for the video, the step by steps are amazing! - Quick question, my mother is here with the I-134A do I need to file any other forms beside the I-130 to get her residency?
Hey i am filling I-130 for my parents and in a add family portion one of my sister doesn't have a last name and its not let me go forward without added her last name.
@@muhammadsohaib4405 USCIS says in that case write first name in the last name line

Hay can i use that same form for my brother as well???
