Hopefully they do the car justice with the artificial gear shifting and other unique aspects. They just need to give it a special Ioniq 5N Cup event so there will be something to use it with.
Honestly, I'm surprised they've continued to provide free updates for as long as they have, even if 20-25% of them are dumb VGT cars. The Ioniq 5 N is a pretty cool EV so I'm looking forward to trying it out... I think the difference with this EV is that Hyundai have engineered it to be a creditable track car rather than just throwing some tuning bits/bigger motors at a standard car and calling it a performance model *cough* t e s l a *cough*.
@@markpacker6951the history of GT has been with 100s of updates free of charge which is obvioisly better than spending real money. But if i recall correctly...they did have a few updates that did cost money.
Yeah I agree. It’s VERY good to still get free updates 3 years after the game launched. I’m very interested to see how they implement the IONIC 5. I hope they can execute the shifting system.
Im interested to try this electric Hyundai out in the game...even though there are many cars id love to come before it. And yes...the new track additions seem dismal. They have Circuit Gille Villenueve ready to go...and it just sits. They may have Silverstone as well...criminal these arent in the game yet. I think Red Rock Valley is ready too and perhaps Apricot Hill? Id really like to see Midfield return.
There’s still the ‘My First Gran Turismo’ demo which is slated to come out over the holiday season so I don’t think we’re done with GT content for the year just yet, mate! On the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N ‘24, it’s another car. It might have a race tailored to it and it could be used in the Weekly Challenges. 🤷♂️
Wonderful timing, I only play one game. GT7, and yesterday my one-year-old PS5 decided to crap out (BLOD). Not sure if I’ll get it back from Sony before this ends.
@amazingcars1324 that's what they will say, technology is further advanced then you realise. There is a very good chance that its in the planning phase, but they won't tell you this because: if ps6 is announced sales will fall on ps5
PS6 is an interesting one. I don’t we will see big generation changes in consoles anymore like we did with PS 1, 2, 3 etc. it might be going more like PCs and just specifications improvements.
*I give no fucks.* No update means no alteration to the PP system which makes me have to retune my cars to use them in the same races they're already tuned for, it means no alteration to the amount you can earn as a prize for a custom race which is where most of the fun in this game can be found and, as for the free car, I don't want an electric SUV in a sim racer/simcade... in fact, I generally don't want SUVs in any racing game. If it's small and light enough, like the Jimny, it can be a decent rally car but this one is not small and light enough.
Unless you're really into multiplayer, many people have just dropped GT7 altogether. They come back to check out the new cars and tracks when an update drops, but beyond this... GT7 is a terrible racing game for people who want to actually race and not grind numbingly like a mobile game. The in-game economy is terrible. 95% of GT7 videos are for tunes for three tracks (Le Mans, Tokyo Express, Sardinia) because those are the only ones that respect a players time for payout. You can't even use EVs for these events which further limits choice when they're added, regardless of how they're portrayed, good or bad. SMH

Yeah I really hope they do a proper job.

I agree. Most games take your money, and then ask for more. It's why lots of peeps don't like digital down loads.

please let me choose the engine sound like the real car, I wanna sound like a jet
That would be sick 🔥🔥

I wonder if we will ever see the Canada track. I think we got Lake Louise instead and the rounders were wrong 😳

Ah man. Hope you get it back soon 👍🏻👍🏻
Their preparing for ps6 and gt8, time to wind down on the updates?
PS6 hasn't been confirmed by PlayStation or sony.

They need to add more single player championships.

Don’t worry.. December update will be the PC port announcement
Why would we want an update- I haven't finished playing the 3 new events we got last time out....
As a on and off player of gt7 now ... the game has enough content 4 me. If I am honest... yeah ... 😅
Like deployed 👍
'Electric cars aren't the most fun to drive in racing sims'
Who cares?
This one could be. If they implements the gears in the real car.
i care. what a lame comment.

But which one could be?

Of course you do. Also, how is my comment lame? Am I a narcissist or something?

Do Not Buy Gran Turismo 7
