MBBS MD Microbiology(Gold Medalist).
She completed her MBBS from West Bengal University of Health Sciences,Residency in Microbiology from Calcutta School of Tropical Medicine and also doing her Senior Residency from same college currently.
In this video,she shares her perspective of taking Microbiology as PG branch with the experience of her recent residency years.She has addressed all queries pertinent to the branch such that the video is one stop solution for all aspirants who wish to opt for the branch!
Indian Medical Students hardly have any idea or inclination about the branch they wanna get into and even if they do, it's largely based on recent trends or ranks, half-baked info and the "cool/badass" tag that comes along with that speciality.

Start with revising your mbbs books : Paniker latest edition,shastry.
The absolute essentials during MD are Mackey And MacCartney for practical Microbiology,koneman is a great book,Bailey and Scott,Topley
For mycology you can read Jagdish Chander.
