- Shamelessly clickbait title I know =P. I bought an Islander BRAC-02 aftermarket metal bracelet for my Seiko Samurai and compare it to the bracelet from my Rolex Explorer 2 16570.
The rubber strap that comes on it is fantastic! It's well made and soft good quality buckle and keeper!!
And it's not too long

Hi. Great video, thanks for the tips. I am considering to buy either this bracelet, or a Strapcode bracelet for my SRP51 Samurai....as the price of this one is about the half of the Strapcode's, but for about the same overall quality, I think I'll go with this one!
Part of the diver certification these watches have has to do with the strength of the spring bars...they have to be able to hold 45 lbs of weight before failing. Be careful with these quick release straps as they are likely destroying the professional certification these watches come with. Just saying...ya I know you aren't Jacques Cousteau but something to be aware of.
By simply pressing in the side buttons, it will automatically release the clasp. the buttons are also attached to the clasps release pins.

Would that bracelet for a Samurai fit a Seiko 5 Sports? I measured and the Seiko 5 I have is also 22mm between the lugs. I lost one end link and now need a new strap.
Hello I know its been a while but does the bracelet taper to 18mm at the clasp? Im thinking of getting a rachetting clasp and dont know if it fits thx

How much does the Islander bracelet taper to? Is it 18mm or 20mm at the clasp?

Nah, wasn't any more difficult than taking on / off any other spring bar inside a metal bracelet.
What ar the ods, i have the same samurai as you. Just received bootleg bracelet from aliexpress, it does not fit XD, hallow gingly gengly end links, tried to resize it, bracelet fell apart XD. I hope i would be wiser and buy the same bracelet as you from Marc. Too bad black friday was last week.

Dang, sorry to hear that but a good example why it's worth it to pay a bit more to get something from a more reputable source...
Funny thing is Marc's bracelets are probably made in China too, it's just a matter of buying from a channel that will help you get quality.
