Hello! This comment is unrelated to this video, but would you "recommend" me putting a welded diff on my 330ci with 17" wheels? I know you've been driving the e39 wagon a lot with a welded diff and just would like your opinion. Thanks!
I know that feeling when you finally fix your car when it's been siting for weeks and you can finally drive it again :D I want to buy E34 525i as my first car ,so this video will be useful for me in the future..
Pro tip for next time: When you cut the insulation out of a wire which you plan to heat solder like you did, it's better to not curl it like you did at 6:44. If you don't do it for any of the two wires, it'll make a better contact when they come into contact with each other and be less prone to coming undone as the wires tangle between them and the soldering surface is much bigger, leaving it less prone to breaking :D
I had exact same problem with my e36 cabrio, fuel pump connector was bad, but to find that out, I replaced fuel pump/filter and almost pressure regulator. I would drive and car simply shuts off or when it starts it dies in few seconds, wish there was this video before it.
Do it yourself, learn it yourself. Nice. Sooner or later you will know every bolt in those cars, from te engine through the suspension, all the way to electronics. This e34 is still great, but, as I always write, I still miss your E36 compact beater 😉
0:50 had this problem with my e34 too, stock pump cracked and sometimes it didnt work :D had to get towed like 3times before i replaced it with walbro 255 11:55 lol :D
maybe you should try to use a GoPro camera? because there are a lot of autofocus problems... Other hand - I am glad to hear that you've fixed e34 Can you tell me what is the tool for the wires? )))
Can you make a video of how much all the components did cost? (including car, software/programming, etc.) I am thinking about to buy an E34 too an turbo it :D
You need to compress the connectors on the metal part with the correct tool, so that it clamps down on the copper parts of the cable The rubber part is just to avoid short circuts - not for heatshrinking

You need to compress the metal rings so that they press against the wires, not just heat up

His e39 is for daily use ,so no need to turbo it.
