My ex-fiancé was a medicated schizophrenic. Our families had known each other forever. We re-met when he was on medication and he was on medication for nearly our entire relationship. It was wonderful. Unfortunately, his brain began to tell him that because everything was going so well-we were engaged, our families were excited, we were both reaching the tops of our careers, we were house shopping-he didn’t need to be on medication. He went off and started to have mental breaks. We couldn’t convince him to go back on his meds. He started drinking instead. He became a shell. I grieved so hard-it was like someone had died. The last I heard, he lost everything and moved in with his mother but still refuses to take his medicine and spends more time in mental break than in touch with reality. I still haven’t fallen in love like that since.
getting your partners name/initials tattooed is the kiss of death. idk anyone who’s done this and then not broken up lol heck, i got my kids name, and they transitioned so i gotta cover that lol the kids get butterflies now!
This might sound stupid, but thank you for being willing to change your tattoo since your child transitioned. Took me two years for my dad to use my name, and he still uses the wrong pronouns and then correct himself by just replacing pronouns with my name.
I felt that story, about the dude who thought he found the love of his life and moved to a different school to be closer to her. Then she cheated and broke up with him and he was never able to capture that same feeling that he had with her with other women.
Okay, disclaimer, am aroace and thus maybe just can't understand relationships in general, but hearing these stories...people, WHY did you put up with such treatment even for a day, never mind years in some cases? Are people really that lonely? It's so sad.
Wait. 1st story. A bona fide suicide attempt and they released her after 12 hours? That's an automatic three day psychiatric hold where I'm from.

He went from drinking a little and being fun to being an abusive drunk
S1, wtf?!?? That's fucking wild!
As a Mexican, I knew immediately what church they were talking about. They're establishing churches in *ranchos* now
Which church?
