effspot, the story behind the gt500 supra goes like this, as much as you said about the sponsors changing is true and that they couldn't afford the car. however, the car actually belongs to the shopowner where it's sitting as one person from speedhunters did an article about it and asked the owner too. The owner has no plans to sell the car but to repair it and hopefully make it run on the streets of japan one day.

No. That looks like a 1965 or 1966 Mustang but could be as late as 1968. The Boss 302 was 1969 and 1970. Can tell it is earlier than 1969 due to the presence of wing windows.
