I find it’s your difficulty level, on normal the game can be quite easy and on expert guards will jump at you at the splitting of hairs if you’re not careful
@@MajorFleshbang no it definitely does. Increases their peripheral vision tremendously. Also their range of vision, sound detection, search tactics, etc.
@@Akaash449 I literaly did the exact same thing on expert this afternoon, including the roll and "sneaking" through the guards peripheral vision. Yes, there behaviour gets more complex and there senses sharpen up. But this video is representative of the AI on every difficulty. Don't get me wrong, I love this game (hence why I have it installed basically at all times) but the AI is not as smart as you propably remember it
@@MajorFleshbang maybe, I haven't played it in a long time. TBH, all these years in game development, and not a single game with decent AI. Even the simulators fail to deliver that.
Because as you may have noticed , the game throws dialogues and convos at you at anytime So imagine sneaking behind someone and sams starts talking to Lambert , that'll just automatically get you detected even when it wasn't your fault
@@lukky6648 exactly, but there's a way to stop that from happening, make a similar feature to MGS's Codec, basically it rings when someone calls you and you can answer it anytime gives of a much more really cool tactical experience but if they did that, they might get sued for copyright or something (it is what it is sadly) anddd yeah lol, anyways it's still funny

Very few games have replay ability with Me this game in no exception. However on Steam there exists issues where the game will freeze and the display settings will revert back to default in Windows 10 OS. Also characters withing certain levels like Lacerdas ship will freeze. I could walk under one of them hanging on a ladder the sailor would not move react. Some levels a head shot will kill others it will alert the character to your presence.
Playing this on Steam now. Takes me back when I was playing it on XBOX back in the day. Still great..All though some of the things the other characters say seems rather childish and out of character when you are spotted...'nothing better that way'...or 'I want to go home..'

I recently beat it on hard. Personally that was a good medium for me but it's really cool they have expert mode for ppl who wanna really get into it
On expert if the light meter is over half filled, everyone on the ship is going after your ass

The Game doesn't treat interrogations and other comms dialogues as in-world sounds lol , that's why sam can talk so loud and still not get heard.
It's funny that they made a sound travelling feature for co-op voice chat but not for Sam Fisher
