    I like to match my playlist to my breathing rythm and not my running rythm, I can listen to much comfyer tunes and have a more easygoing experience.

    "Jeffing" is probably after Jeff Galloway who advocates the walk run method. He has written a lot of interesting articles and books about running into old age which are well worth finding.

    Thank you very much sir, I really needed to hear walking and stopping is ok during a recovery run, I was always trying to run start to finish at an easy pace but I have often found myself wanting to walk or stop to talk to someone, or just take a small break. Keep it up with the good info!

    On easy runs I take a route where there are lots of things I want to stop and look at: little free libraries, flowers, goats...

      I hear you. I’m regularly just checking out the goings on around me on easy runs. Distracts from the clock.
