As someone who's beaten Super Mario World 100% many times, watching Ui use the (BROKEN AS HELL) Cape Feather multiple times without learning how to remain aloft (Rhythmically tap the opposite direction at which you're going) hurts my soul.
All her skill points went into artistry. None were left for gameplay dexterity. She's like the polar opposite of Zero Master, unless he can draw and entertain and we just don't know it.
Super Mario World is one of my favorite SNES games, I love seeing them play it, even if they aren't too good at it. The graphics, music, and boss fights are all really memorable! Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past and Kirby Super Star Saga are other good ones, especially if co-op is available for Kirby!
Oh, a bit more context for the thumbnail discussion: you showed the current thumbnail on screen, I think it was only created after the stream. The thumbnail when the stream started was UI on a flat orange background with big text saying something like 黙って見てな (shut up and watch!)
To be honest I watched some of Subaru's gameplay of this.. And she is super good! I'm pretty terrible at platforming games, but Subaru made it look so easy. Ui-mama has a long way to go to reach her daughter's level of skill.. Which is also funny just 5-6 years ago Subaru had never even played video games. And she's better at a game I've played for decades. Hahaha! Just goes to show how talented our Kawaii TomDuck/Swan is! ^_^
She might be the second worst platform gamer... ...and if you think about it that's like being first, cause it's physically impossible to control Mario worse than Polka.
