#2 and #4 are the two main reasons my wife and I made the move to the northeast coast of Florida. I’ve lived and/or worked in Fort Collins since 1989 and loved the vibe of FoCo back then. While FoCo is still a fabulous place to live, it isn’t what it used to be. We absolutely love being 2 1/2 miles from the Atlantic Ocean but there will always be a place in our hearts for FoCo. I believe FoCo is the best city to make home on the front range of Colorado!
Sam! You got that right, Fort Collins is a great city, if not the best, place to live on the front range. With growth of a city must come change. I'm glad you and your wife are enjoying the coastal life!!
Seems to me, that he is exaggerating the negatives, perhaps to discourage tourists? The weather is perfect, and that is a number one priority these days.
Hey Patricia! No not exaggerating. Just providing facts and opinions in this video to the viewers. And since a few of the topics are my opinions since I have lived in Fort Collins for almost 30 years. So I’ve definitely seen a lot change lol. Where are you living?
Steve, I am not sure where you received that information. But here is a link to how property taxes are calculated in CO. Right now the percentage is around 8%. The link will also give you an example for a 500k home. cdola.colorado.gov/calculate-property-taxes Would love to chat more to see how I could help out!!
Cons. 1. Homelessness 2.people moving there. 3. HOAs 4.crime and police 5.expensive Foco been goinghill since Covid, Foco-loveland isn’t the same no more.
John that's too funny! You should check out my other video, "Why I love living in Fort Collins." Plenty of activities, events, social place to meet that someone special for ya.
