I dont think people realize the voice that Jack Russell had, how fucking incredible it really was. People say Hair Metal, then just cast off anyone in a Hair Metal band, not realizing the POWERFUL MUSIC that has come from that AMAZING ERA. I have seen over 150 concerts in my 50 years on this planet, and i could tell you this, only three other people i have seen could ever match Captain JACKS vocals. R.I.P Mista Bone. . . Jack was a great frontmam he had great stage presence, when me and my wife seen great white in concert in 1997 they played at a small club in Bay City Mi. That held about 500 they were one of the best bands I seen live

Just attended The Best of Both Worlds Tour and on the shuttle from the venue to the hotel they played Rock Me and everyone started to sing. Jack Russell passed away the day before and it was our tribute to him remembering and enjoying the music he gave us. RIP Jack Russell
Saw them in the UK in 1984 over two nights in Belfast opening for Whitesnake (Slide It In Tour)....Their set was pretty much the whole first album, they were brilliant as a four piece. Saw them again in 1990.

I love Great White but what the band did to Jack was terrible he needed his band to help him and they tried to steal the brand. His voice made the band rock maybe be dead now but just like Jack never forgotten

I was in a bar cover band years ago and always enjoyed playing Once Bitten Twice Shy. And it was always an audience favorite.
