    Really nice video Keis !! Love Chinatown. I make food videos and made one of Chinatown when I was in Bkk but the wok was inside the stove and I couldn't get a nice photo with the fire exploding as thumbnail. So I still need that photo. A photographer friend went there recently and told me the work was still inside the stove.
    I would really need a photo with the fire. Would you tell me how you managed to get one and if sometimes the wok is outside ?
    THANK YOU IN ADVANCE 🙏🙏🙏

    Last year at the beginning of June towards the end of the pandemic I lived in China Town. This place had such an awesome vibe. It wasn't as crowded as this but you were still shoulder to shoulder in some places. This was my real first intro to Thailand/Asia and the local people. Finding a foreigner at that time in China Town, was like finding a needle in a hay stack. It felt like I was on a different planet and I loved it!
    Now it seems I'll actually need to go to China to get that same feeling again.

      @hyrule4837 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WushuTaz Thats some great news from you also! Would you reccomend Koh Samui? I have heard good things. I am starting up north in Chiang Mai (about to finish 2 months here) then ill be in Hua hin and slowly making my way down south. All the best!

    • @WushuTaz
      @WushuTaz ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@hyrule4837 Most definitely recommend Samui even with the increase of tourists. It's still not nearly as over crowded as Phuket. The rainy season here is October to December if you're worried about that but that means less tourists, cheaper rental prices and slightly cooler weather. While you're here you might as well also check out the islands of Koh Phangan (hippy central) and Koh Tao (where foreigners typically get their scuba diving certs) too. They are a 45 min and 1.5 hour ferry ride from Samui. I hope to make it up north sometime next year. Best of luck to you too!

    • @hyrule4837
      @hyrule4837 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Okay that is fantastic advice thanks for this! Its wet season here in Chiang mai and I love the weather being that toucher cooler. Perfect seems like I could make koh samui my base and take weekend trips away to the islands. Absolute legend! all the best to you@@WushuTaz

      My honest opinion, and the reason I stopped going.. when all the backpackers and young travelers started coming back, the locals stopped going, there is almost no Thai girls there now so it’s like a backpacker / budget tourist place to go.. that is overpriced

    • @sl5946
      @sl5946 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@keisone it's always been a backpackers/ low budget place, that was the draw but it had a lot of energy. The video I saw it just had people walking around with no excitement, no energy

      @keisone  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sl5946 yeah but the last few years it was different so it was way more vibrant back then..

    Chinatown has become much more accessible since they added the 2 MRT stops. Used to be that you could get a taxi there but nobody would take you back because of the traffic.
