These are great! The same exercises I did before they decided I needed surgery, and they worked until the cortisone wore off. Looking forward to increasing my range of motion!
I'm six wks post op today from rotator cuff repair & start PT tomorrow. Although I can technically be out of my sling today I will wear it to PT tomorrow & let them tell me I can officially be without it. I also hope I'm cleared to drive.
Seems like some of these test are redundant and I find it hard to believe that someone can safely support the weight of their surgical arm while supine with that length of dowel.
I'll be do my own PT, my surgeon refuses to send me to a PT near my home because it's out of the hospital network which in my state is against the law. I've been watching these PT vids and non supply a print out. Maybe they want the (hits) views?
Thanks a lot for checking out our content! You mentioned a lack of printouts. May I ask what type of information you're looking for? Perhaps we have some resources we can share. -Keisha
@@ILBoneJoint Printouts of PT instructions like you have here. I'm sure you give a printout to your patient to do at home, I have received these instruction from PT before. I can do a search and find them it would be convenient to have it available here.
I thought at start up surgery arm was her left arm, then towards the end when she was doing the last exercise she switched her surgical arm to right arm
It was the other way around; her right arm was initially illustrated as her surgical one, then it became her left arm. Became confusing either way. Good observations nonetheless. Thanks for noticing that.
Hi I am four weeks post op from reverse shoulder replacement. Like you I was doing exercises and felt terrible pain so the Surgeon said to not push so hard that you feel pain - you go slow because everyone is different. Please tell your Dr about your pain it is vital that you do not push yourself too hard. I know it is difficult and frustrating at times but you and I my Friend will get back our normal lives soon. Greetings and best wishes from Sydney Australia 💗🐨🇦🇺
@@alislim9055 Hi Ali Due to all the Covid restrictions over here at the time I couldn't get appropriate physiotherapy treatment so I had to do the best I could following off the Internet! It is not as good as it should have been IE not really good motion etc but I think God it is better than it was and that's a blessing. Thanks so much for asking if it was meant for me. God bless. ❤️🇦🇺

If u can't take shoulder over head how u cn do this exercise
How many weeks past the surgery for the 2 steps
2-6 weeks after surgery
How many reps should be done for each exercise?
After how many days we can start Active moments?

Correct i didn't have enough pain tolerance to even move 2 inches and thts at 4 weeks.
How many times we should do this exercises???
Why did you switch surgical & non-surgical arms between videos?
