    Over 100 ft-lb torque and still stupid horsepower. Can't complain about that 1290. And the engine is very compliant and flexible which is a shock.

    Why test this with the Monster S??? Monster R is most track focused!!! If hes gonna do a SuperDuke R you gotta go MT-10 SP and Monster R
    Come on guys keep on level playing field

      You're not wrong but, as the S model was teh most recently refreshed at the time, we had it as a demo model. Perhaps the R will be available again with the refresh in 2020.

    cant imagine spending that much money on these bikes and getting one with that ugly orange and hideous half split headlight with the color scheme the same
    as every other KTM in the history of KTM

      The looks really do grow on you, though. It is nice that a KTM isn't trying to look like anything else out there, at any rate!
