I’ve done something like very similar to this before, it just got eaten too fast (so small). My crockpot is big enough to fit a second one of these. Think any adjustments would need to be made to make two of these 3-pounders in the crock simultaneously?
I've actually been debating making two of these or a bone-in breast for Thanksgiving too! If I do two, I'll add another hour or so to the cook time (5-6 hours). Just want to ensure they're fully cooked. Butterball suggests cooking until internally the temperature 170°F in the thickest part.
Great tip! For this I wanted everyone to see the seasonings going in. I was saving myself a bit of time from filming it separately, but yes it's great to mix ahead too! ☺
You're absolutely right to ask! Parchment paper isn’t recommended under the broiler because it can catch fire at such high heat. I don't put mine too close, but this is a valid concern. Thank you for pointing that out and I'll make sure to avoid that in the future and use a broiler-safe option like foil instead. Appreciate your concern!
Hi! Thanks for your comment. According to food safety guidelines, rinsing meat isn’t recommended as it can spread bacteria to your sink and surrounding surfaces. Cooking the meat thoroughly kills any bacteria, making rinsing unnecessary. Hope that helps!
This looks so good. I have a thawed Aldi turkey breast in my fridge for dinner tomorrow. This video was perfect timing.
Thank you so much!! yes, perfect timing! ☺
Thank you!
You're so welcome!!

Thank you! It looks delicious and I like that Crock-Pot too. It looks nice with that little probe thing going on. Yeah that's the upscale kind huh?😅
Thanks for watching ❤ I can't wait to try cooking with the probe next! I got it on sale for $89 and saw it for $69 just the other day!! My luck 😅
You have beautiful teeth! I bought this turkey and you gave me great idea on how to cook it. Thank you
Thank you!! We hope you enjoy it!! 🥳
Mix the butter with the seasonings then rub the flavored butter over the turkey breast. Just a suggestion.

My thoughts exactly! 😊
Thanks ladies!! Noted, compounding the butter for you guys prior ☺
You used parchment paper under the broiler? Is that safe? Isn’t there a risk of fire, since paper burns at Fahrenheit 451 degrees?

Why is the mesh on it? And why did you not take it off of it?
The mesh holds it together. Sometimes there’s a separate piece or it’s not the perfect loaf shape.
What is the weight of your turkey? Just curious.
They are all the same size, and they weigh 3lbs total.
