I did not know that a Nocturne game existed in which had Raidou instead of Dante. I thought it was interesting in the sense that I wondered what the dialogue from Raidou (or Goutou who seems to do the talking for Raidou) would be like as well as the battle and if he was recruit able because when I first saw a Japanese version of first fight between the Demi-Fiend and Raidou ... that was all I knew. I could not find any videos indicating if he was recruit able or not. I hope that Atlus could at least make a DLC to allow Dante to be recruited along with Raidou. If I was in charge, this is how I would do it. I would have both Raidou and Dante in the game, with both being possible to recruit. Removed Cutscene: Where Raidou and Goutou see the Demi-Fiend for the first time after the Demi-Fiend leaves the Shinjuku Hospital. Extra Cutscene 1: The old man and the young woman gives Dante the job of slaying the Fiends that 'stole' his Candelabra. Being able to sense where powerful demons are, Dante finds the location of the Matador, and witnesses the Demi-Fiend getting sucked into realm where Matador is and watches as the Demi-Fiend returns victorious. As the Demi-Fiend disappears before the eyes of Raidou and Goutou, Goutou tells Raidou "The human teenager with marks across his body. Raidou, that one must be one of the Fiends that the old lady told us about. What shall we do?" The view is directed at Raidou and Goutou leaving that area of Ikebukuro. The Demi-Fiend returns victorious, when he tries to leave Ikebukuro, the Demi-Fiend hears a voice "Stop right there, Fiend." The Demi-Fiend turns around to see a cat and a young man in black. Goutou tells the Demi-Fiend "We have been given a case, and you are one of the suspects we are looking for. Be a good boy and return what you stole, and the one you got from the Fiend you defeated." The Demi-Fiend refuses with a dismissive head nod. Goutou responds "Raidou, you know what to do." Raidou then draws his sword at the Demi-Fiend and grabs one tube. The tube slowly opens and the cutscene ends to start the first fight. This is just a little for how Raidou and Dante could encounter the Demi-Fiend and a concept for how it would play out.
@@ZeroOmega-vg8nq The reason why I chose for the young boy and old woman to give Raidou the case instead of the old man and young woman talking with him is because Raidou would not know about the Labyrinth of Amala yet ... and the young boy and old woman give Raidou the case to keep him going through Tokyo on an errand - all the while keeping him away from the Labyrinth of Amala and seeing the old man and young woman ... which would have Raidou noticing how oddly similar both pairs seem to be, this would also prevent Raidou from possibly meeting Dante along the way. The reason for this is because Lucifer knows who Raidou is (due to Devil Summoner 2) but as both a young boy and old man ... Raidou would not know who they are. Lucifer also knows of Dante, since Dante is part demon. Extra Cutscene 3: The Demi-Fiend returns to the highway after defeating Hell Biker. The view shows Dante on an aged motorcycle, he revs up and goes full speed towards the Demi-Fiend and jumps over the front of the motorcycle while gripping the handlebars. As Dante lands on the road, he hurls the motorcycle over the Demi-Fiend. The Demi-Fiend watches the motorcycle explode as it lands. Dante says "Defeated another Fiend, I see. Don't tell me you hard a hard time with him. I could have beaten him with my hands tied behind my back. If it was a race, I could've left him in the dust. Now that it's just you and me ... (Dante draws both Ebony and Ivory at the Demi-Fiend) let's rock! As to whether I would have Dante or Raidou battle the Demi-Fiend after he defeats a Fiend, not sure. But there would be a handful of battles with each of them separately. Each battle would (of course) be tougher. Raidou would summon stronger demons that cast stronger spells and Dante would show off attacks with various weapons he collected in Devil May Cry 1 and 3 (like Ifrit, Cerberus, Nevan, Artemis and so on). The skills tied to weapons like those ... some would be exclusive to him as a boss, not available as a recruit. All that would be considered what would be exclusive and what would not. As for Dante's Devil Trigger, this is how I would introduce that feature. For the last battle with Dante, when his HP gets to half or below half, the battle ends to a cutscene. Raidou, this Fiend has all of the Candelabra, (looks intently at Dante) all but ONE." It is never explained how Goutou realized Dante had one as well. Dante pulls the one he has in his possession out and asks "This one?" as he smiles. Goutou says, "Let me guess, the one you have was GIVEN to you, was it not?" Dante answers, "Yeah. How did you --" Goutou interrupts "Of course. The Fiend over there was most likely given one as well, which means that none of the Fiends stole them. They were each given a Candelabrum by our client (Goutou looks over at Dante) ... who also happens to be the one who you took the job from. Same pair, different appearance. It was pretty clever. Oh. Forgive me for not introducing us. I am Goutou, and this is Raidou Kuzuhoha the XIV ... from a line of Devil Summoners." Dante nods and says "I am Dante. What's a Devil Summoner?" Goutou tells Dante "Interesting, I never though we would meet a descendant of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda. Devil Summoners are detectives who handle supernatural cases that involve demons ... by using demons. We already know that you are a half-demon mercenary who will take on any job as long as there are demons to kill." Dante says "Not sure I want to know how you know that much about me, but let's get back to business. If we're going to get down to the bottom of all this, then we might as well do it together. But before we do, I will offer my services to you one one condition." Dante walks over to Raidou and whispers something, the Demi-Fiend cannot hear. Raidou looks at Dante and nods agreeably. Dante and Raidou both walk towords the Demi-Fiend. Dante says "If you want us to join you, it's simple. You have to defeat the both of us. You game?" The cutscene immediately initiates the double boss fight.
I would create DLC that allows player to take on optional boss fights. The bosses would be ... Optional Boss Fight1: Serph, Heat, Argilla, Gale, Cielo, Roland and Sera. The beginning of the battle will have Heat, Argilla, Gale, Cielo and Roland. A five are fought as a group. If their human form is defeated (which is simple since their human form has Gun attacks, but can use Gun combos ... no one is WEAK to Gun), they transform into their demon form. They will have the same elemental affinity as they did in DDS 1 and 2, their weaknesses are the same. Their demon forms are capable of using skill combos as well. Once all four are defeated, Serph and Sera will enter the battle (the battle is not interrupted by any cutscenes). Once their demon forms are defeated, they retain 1 HP, revert back to human form ... Serph and Sera merge to become Seraph. Seraph will transform to demon form once human form is defeated. When demon form is defeated, the battle is over. The reward: Demon Fusion unlocks for all eight demons. Optional Boss Fight 2: The demon forms of the Tribe Bosses of DDS 1. All five bosses are fought together just like with the Dante and Raidou double boss fight. The Tribe Bosses are at the exact same level as they were in DDS 1. Reward: Demon Fusion unlocks for Hayagriva, Usas, Rahu, Cerberus (DDS1), and Ravana. Optional Boss Fight 3: The human and demon forms Tribvhana. The battle is the same as Optional Boss Fight 1. Reward: Fusion Unlocks for Cu Sith, Ganga and Ubelluris. Optional Boss Fight 4: Kartikeya, Camazotz and Meganada. The battle is gauntlet style. When Kartikeya is defeated, Camazotz enters, and Meganada enters when Camazotz is defeated. Psycho Rage and Zotzilaha Bane are boss exclusive for Camazotz. Reward: Fusion Unlocks for Kartikeya, Camazotz and Meganada. Optional Boss Fight 5: Feng Huang, Baihu, Gui Xian, Long, and Huang Long. Huang Long enters after the four are defeated. The Demifiend is probably the most broken Messiah in the SMT multiverse, and he is struggling against a normal human being? That explains tons of Raido's potential.
Raidou has fought great demons and gods and all of raidou’s knowledge and power are transferred through their line. If anything Dante is outclassed by raidou if he can’t even beat Hitoshura
@@tyveculus220 Who said Dante can't defeat Demin-fiend, as far as we know he's clearly holding back since he doesn't use devil trigger. Regardless of how badass Raidou is he's still human so at the very least he can't possibly be physically stronger than Dante or Demi-fiend but arguing who's stronger out of guest characters in an RPG is ultimately redundant since normal rules don't apply, in terms of gameplay Raidou is a pallet swap for Dante and they are pretty much identical. If we're talking in terms of original games' stories then Dante would wipe the floor with Raidou, it's not even a contest.
DeadEndScreamer raidou is more an improvement as well as someone who was also holding back on hitoshura lest you forget he was called off from using all his demon’s at once to destroy him. And for the shin megami tensei type saga being a human who controls demon doesn’t leave you as a normal human he’s an extremely powerful on that has beaten gods and has great power from his bloodline as a summoner. As for dante I’ll give you that he hasn’t used his devil trigger against hitoshura though even if he did as you mentioned all of this is redundant since we can’t say he couldn’t beat that as well
1st turn dead(unless null Phys)... 2 hits are lethal in this game (looking at you red rider and your terrorblade) 8 is just too much..(+4 atk with -4 def on enemies + focus... Enough to insta slaughter most living things.) Kinda glad there is no yoshitsune in Nocturne. He would be all you need as a phys attacker

You should try out devil summoner. Raidou is just a reguler human being but is a devil summoner for the kuzunoha clan. How he summons them is through those tubes he has in which he uses demons for investigation and for battle

I'm not really sure,but apparently the Shin Megami Tensei 1 and 2 timeline is the original timeline,and Raidou Kuzunoha the XL travelled back in time from the SMT 2 era to the Raidou Kuzunoha The XIV Era,and caused something that stopped the President of the USA from nuking Japan in Shin Megami Tensei 1, that causes the timeline to change and it creates the Persona timeline And I guess that the Nocturne timeline(Which also includes Strange Journey) gets created if he's Chaos alligned I still haven't played Raidou Kuzunoha 1 and 2 and other Megaten games so I'm not sure,this is just stuff that I heard from other people talking about it

Dante case was more opposite of DMC. You playing as a demon and not Dante. How does it feel to get haunted and toyed by Dante. Raidou on the other hand has a purpose in the story. Not saying the boss battle is better than Dante cause it isn't, but it makes more sense than Dante.
I guess but at the same time it just makes more sense for an smt character to guest star in an smt game and also raidou gets Pierce. Immediately more useful

Goutou explains to Dante about the young boy and old woman and the case. Dante tells Goutou "I never met anyone like that. The reason I have been after this kid is because he stole the Candelabra from an old man, accompanied by a young woman. The old man gave me the job of killing all of the Fiends and reclaiming the Candelabrum from each of them. I gotta make money one way or another, a job's a job."
Goutou tells Raidou, "I see. Raidou, this Fiend has all of the Candelabra, (looks intently at Dante) all but ONE." It is never explained how Goutou realized Dante had one as well.
Dante pulls the one he has in his possession out and asks "This one?" as he smiles.
Goutou says, "Let me guess, the one you have was GIVEN to you, was it not?"
Dante answers, "Yeah. How did you --"
Goutou interrupts "Of course. The Fiend over there was most likely given one as well, which means that none of the Fiends stole them. They were each given a Candelabrum by our client (Goutou looks over at Dante) ... who also happens to be the one who you took the job from. Same pair, different appearance. It was pretty clever. Oh. Forgive me for not introducing us. I am Goutou, and this is Raidou Kuzuhoha the XIV ... from a line of Devil Summoners."
Dante nods and says "I am Dante. What's a Devil Summoner?"
Goutou tells Dante "Interesting, I never though we would meet a descendant of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda. Devil Summoners are detectives who handle supernatural cases that involve demons ... by using demons. We already know that you are a half-demon mercenary who will take on any job as long as there are demons to kill."
Dante says "Not sure I want to know how you know that much about me, but let's get back to business. If we're going to get down to the bottom of all this, then we might as well do it together. But before we do, I will offer my services to you one one condition."
Dante walks over to Raidou and whispers something, the Demi-Fiend cannot hear. Raidou looks at Dante and nods agreeably.
Dante and Raidou both walk towords the Demi-Fiend. Dante says "If you want us to join you, it's simple. You have to defeat the both of us. You game?"
The cutscene immediately initiates the double boss fight.
I would create DLC that allows player to take on optional boss fights. The bosses would be ...
Optional Boss Fight1: Serph, Heat, Argilla, Gale, Cielo, Roland and Sera. The beginning of the battle will have Heat, Argilla, Gale, Cielo and Roland. A five are fought as a group. If their human form is defeated (which is simple since their human form has Gun attacks, but can use Gun combos ... no one is WEAK to Gun), they transform into their demon form. They will have the same elemental affinity as they did in DDS 1 and 2, their weaknesses are the same. Their demon forms are capable of using skill combos as well. Once all four are defeated, Serph and Sera will enter the battle (the battle is not interrupted by any cutscenes). Once their demon forms are defeated, they retain 1 HP, revert back to human form ... Serph and Sera merge to become Seraph. Seraph will transform to demon form once human form is defeated. When demon form is defeated, the battle is over. The reward: Demon Fusion unlocks for all eight demons.
Optional Boss Fight 2: The demon forms of the Tribe Bosses of DDS 1. All five bosses are fought together just like with the Dante and Raidou double boss fight. The Tribe Bosses are at the exact same level as they were in DDS 1. Reward: Demon Fusion unlocks for Hayagriva, Usas, Rahu, Cerberus (DDS1), and Ravana.
Optional Boss Fight 3: The human and demon forms Tribvhana. The battle is the same as Optional Boss Fight 1. Reward: Fusion Unlocks for Cu Sith, Ganga and Ubelluris.
Optional Boss Fight 4: Kartikeya, Camazotz and Meganada. The battle is gauntlet style. When Kartikeya is defeated, Camazotz enters, and Meganada enters when Camazotz is defeated. Psycho Rage and Zotzilaha Bane are boss exclusive for Camazotz. Reward: Fusion Unlocks for Kartikeya, Camazotz and Meganada.
Optional Boss Fight 5: Feng Huang, Baihu, Gui Xian, Long, and Huang Long. Huang Long enters after the four are defeated. Reward: Fusion Unlocks for all five.
Optional Boss Fight 6: King Frost
Reward: Fusion Unlock for King Frost
Optional Boss Fight 7: Abihiko and Nagasunehiko. The battle is the same as the Dante and Raidou double boss battle. Reward: Fusion Unlocks for Abihiko and Nagasunehiko.
Optional Boss Fight 8: Rasputin and Sid Davis. Battle is the same as the Dante and Raidou double boss battle.
Optional Boss Fight 9: Beldr, Belial, Jezebel and Belberith. The battle is the same as Optional Boss Fight 4. Reward: Fusion Unlocks for all four.
Optional Boss Fight 10: Flynn and Nanashi. Battle is the same as Optional Boss Fights 7 and 8. Reward: Fusion Unlock for Dagda.
Special Reward Unlocks:
Optional Boss Fight 1: Serph Outfit, Heat Outfit, Gale Outfit, Cielo Outfit, Roland Outfit.
Optional Boss Fight 2: Harley Outfit, Mick the Slug Outfit, Varin Omega Outfit.

Originally it was Dante so it made more sense why he'd have a hard time in this fight.
Raidou has fought great demons and gods and all of raidou’s knowledge and power are transferred through their line. If anything Dante is outclassed by raidou if he can’t even beat Hitoshura
@@tyveculus220 Who said Dante can't defeat Demin-fiend, as far as we know he's clearly holding back since he doesn't use devil trigger. Regardless of how badass Raidou is he's still human so at the very least he can't possibly be physically stronger than Dante or Demi-fiend but arguing who's stronger out of guest characters in an RPG is ultimately redundant since normal rules don't apply, in terms of gameplay Raidou is a pallet swap for Dante and they are pretty much identical. If we're talking in terms of original games' stories then Dante would wipe the floor with Raidou, it's not even a contest.
DeadEndScreamer raidou is more an improvement as well as someone who was also holding back on hitoshura lest you forget he was called off from using all his demon’s at once to destroy him. And for the shin megami tensei type saga being a human who controls demon doesn’t leave you as a normal human he’s an extremely powerful on that has beaten gods and has great power from his bloodline as a summoner. As for dante I’ll give you that he hasn’t used his devil trigger against hitoshura though even if he did as you mentioned all of this is redundant since we can’t say he couldn’t beat that as well

Raidou is just a reguler human being but is a devil summoner for the kuzunoha clan. How he summons them is through those tubes he has in which he uses demons for investigation and for battle

I'm not really sure,but apparently the Shin Megami Tensei 1 and 2 timeline is the original timeline,and Raidou Kuzunoha the XL travelled back in time from the SMT 2 era to the Raidou Kuzunoha The XIV Era,and caused something that stopped the President of the USA from nuking Japan in Shin Megami Tensei 1, that causes the timeline to change and it creates the Persona timeline
And I guess that the Nocturne timeline(Which also includes Strange Journey) gets created if he's Chaos alligned
I still haven't played Raidou Kuzunoha 1 and 2 and other Megaten games so I'm not sure,this is just stuff that I heard from other people talking about it

Dante case was more opposite of DMC. You playing as a demon and not Dante. How does it feel to get haunted and toyed by Dante. Raidou on the other hand has a purpose in the story. Not saying the boss battle is better than Dante cause it isn't, but it makes more sense than Dante.
I guess but at the same time it just makes more sense for an smt character to guest star in an smt game and also raidou gets Pierce. Immediately more useful
