Select the rectangle tool and stretch a rectangle on the grey area with whichever fill you like... I think its a great way to isolate your palette before hand...

I don't understand how he got the the white gradient to bleed through? Mine changes straight to gray gradient or the orange. one or thee other, not both.. right around 11:00 mark
How do you apply the gradient by picking itself.. u can only apply that by gradient tool rit...

What do you mean by convert object in curves? If you want to work with paths, firstly select an object then select direct selection tool, you'll get selected paths.

How can you make the background black in Photoshop? I don't understand.
⊰✿ Fill your document with black color #121212, now set #8b8b8b as a foreground color, take a large size soft brush with 0 percent hardness and click in the center of the document. Now create a new layer set white as foreground color, and stroke with smaller soft brush to create a light effect. I took new layer because you can lower the opacity of this layer if you want and can move your stroke too.

Zach Shader You should invest in digital classroom tutorials. These vids he posts are assuming you understand the basics of the application. Learn the app before attempting these skills. You might succeed in the following tutorial but you will leave lacking the knowledge you need to excel further.
hi please help! whenever i press review in the 3D window i get this message "The Operation cannot complete because theres not enough memory" and i have pleny of memory so what seems to be the problem?

Hi, go to Edit - Preferences - General - Plug in Scratch Disk then change primary and secondary scratch disk to C:/ and other drive with more space. This works for me, best of luck
