Agreed. It’d explain what’s being done better. If you don’t want to speak there are text to speech bots. They sometimes get words wrong though.

+forkayleigh take screenshot of colors and then paste inside illustrator and use Eyedropper tool to get the colors :D i always do this it works awesome

What made you chose these orange shades and tones? Another inquiry.... why did you draw a grey square over the reflected ball below and created a clipping mask? What is the function of this?

First of all thank you so much. It's really nice to hear that you found these techniques useful.
1. First, I have chosen slightly desaturated pink and slightly desaturated red because that looks nearly pink, then set the tints of these colors.
2. I have chosen Dark orange (Brown tone) because it is one of the best colors to pair with pink. Last color is dark (mostly black) pink (contains more than 80% black) in the contrast of orange.
3. Basically, it's just a shape, color doesn't matter you can fill any color, or even no color.
"A clipping mask is an object whose shape masks other artwork so that only areas that lie within the shape are visible".

Those are custom swatches. Create any shape with the help of shape tool and fill with required shades.

+susandutt You can do with any shape and color as long as the shape cover the object you want to clip. The color is basically you want to chose.

+Kaukab Yaseen I already drew shapes and filled with all colors you pasted on the vid.but just didnt work in my case.when i make click on one of them and going on gradient Windows it just doesnt paste and the shape cant get the new color.why?
+fredel voghts im talking about the shape or object to work for. Do you press control+ click or alt+something to make work copy and paste?
I can't use the eyedropper tool while staying in gradient. It switches to a solid color.
Select the point of the gradient slider which you need to set the color.
Click on the Eyedropper tool, select any color and press the Shift key and Click.
