Loved your reaction! Queen never let themselves be defined by one style. They went where their creativity led them. They were each incredibly talented on their own, but Freddie...he was touched by the gods. There will never be another like him.
This song has such a strong groove to it. It was John Deacon's favorite song to perform live. I like that it showcases each band member. Written by Brian May, this song was popular with live shows. I am not sure if the dragon is Brian's fire breathing guitar or if this is about the music industry in general, but I do like this song.
Great reaction, killer song. Dragon on my Back refers to Brian May’s guitar. This song was created during a drunken jam session in the studio one night. Queen can’t be beat live. Check out Somebody to Love and Keep Yourself Alive live in Montreal, Now I’m Here live at Wembley 1986 and Tie Your Mother Down live July 12th performance live at Wembley.
Loved your reaction ….. this entire 1981 Montreal concert was just plain fire 🔥🔥….. Please react to “Somebody to Love” and “Another One Bites the Dust” from this same concert. Songs that you might have heard before are just not the same as seeing them performed live ……. Thank you.
This was one of the bassist John Deacon’s favourite songs.....did you notice that when Brian moves over beside him, John cues him by raising his right arm two or three times......Brian seemed to have lost his place...John to the rescue🤩
I just LOVE how sublimely into the music Freddie becomes. He puts his soul into it and you can see and hear it. Absolute GOAT

What a performance!
His GORGEOUSNESS himself ❤️ No one can top anything LIVE by QUEEN 👑👑👑
