Well done! Several years ago, I met an older skier at Renaud who was part way through his 10 Cabin Loop. His project inspired me to see what is possible in the park and in early 2020, a friend and I skied the 10 cabin loop as well. Had no idea the hill on 52 was called “Blood lung”! I hope people are inspired by your great adventure and storytelling to join the ranks of people who have skied this loop.
Thank you for sharing your love of the park. I have many fond memories of skiing on the trails and your film has brought back many fond memories. One memory was of being in a snow storm just as you were near Western, I remember stopping to look up to marvel at the miracle of the falling snow.
Formidable! Great job Audrey et Mavis! My wife and I were Googling places to ski and you have sold us! We're coming up to Quebec for our last ski trip of the year!
Congratulations on accomplishing this - especially the old #10 and, on #52, going down that hill knowing that you're going to come back up on such a long day.
You girls are AMAZING! Such an inspiring adventure and so many familiar cabins but NEVER visited all in one day! So glad I could visit them all again vicariously through your great commentary and filming. CONGRATULATIONS!
I so enjoyed your film. What a fun adventure! Such a fabulous place to have in your back yard! I particularly enjoyed the acoustics of the cabin interiors. ( P.S. My cousin is Jeni Darling.🙂 )
I LOVE this! Thank you Audrey and Mavis for an education about the Gatineau Park. I admire your commitment and tenacity to the process of fulfilling an audacious goal, creating space for each of you to become more. 😊
Fantastic! well done you! Thanks for sharing your adventure into the past and present. And giving a tour, I've been to some of those lodges but not past the fire tower and onward, you did all!
Congratulations girls. Great trip and super interesting reflections upon your skiing experiences in your youth. Definitely looking at this for a potential Nordic Adventure challenge.

Nice job that's a lot of ground you covered! Curious about what type of xc skis you were on and if they had metal edges? Either way well done!
