They also both have star drop rate buffs meaning they can help each other to consistently generate stars. Both are also lancers so they can bully archers together. The 3rd party member could be flexible. Waver for general use, Merlin to super buff Raikou, CasGil to cater Kagetora's arts and to shit out even more stars, etc. The only down side is probably card synergy, Mama Raikou wont help Kagetora in terms of arts chaining.

She was my 1st welfare servant when I started playing the game. At that time I still had no idea that there were things like free welfare servants and I was surprised when I saw her in my chaldea. As a new player, all my servants were under leveled and I still didn't know about other servants ability. So, I couldn't utilize my friend support very well. The result was that I couldn't complete the event because of that stupid constant enemy evade skill and she was gone. I liked her for waifu reasons but the last event was the re-run. So, I had no chance of getting her again. So, I am not gonna miss her in NA.
Off, that's rough. Something similar almost happened to me during the KNK re-run, but instead of being too weak my account bugged and unknownly I deleted it. Fortunatly I speedran fuyuki and completed the event. TLDR.: Go for it! 💪👍
In a similar, but different boat. My only gold lancers are NP 1 summer Raiko (whom I use mainly as a buster support), and an NP5 Medusa Lily (who's still bad until she gets her skill upgrade, I think she found it funny spooking me 5 different times).
I have been waiting for her for so long. Can't wait to get her as she is amazing in so many ways and free. Honestly best part of guda as I'm burned out on it aside the welfares I love those character more than the gacha ones. Nobukatsu too. Also when she came out I predicted she would be an st arts lancer as we needed another one in game and glad she is as arts all the way.

I main arts too but I'm sure a Merlin Tamamo set up would be a super crit nuke team for kagetora or anyone else like Nero bride for loops. The options are big and aside my ana kagetora will be my main St lancer.

Kagetora is a servant I never thought I would say that oh she is pretty cute and a good amount interesting. Not to mention once I found out that Nana Mizuki voiced her.....the Fate Testarossa jokes were coming at me full force lol. Now all that is missing is Kagetora, Himeko and Rin basically becoming Nanoha, Fate and Hayate again but dressed as those three characters lol. Still nice analysis!

shes gonna fit just fine with ryouma and cas gil. atk-buff, arts-buff and crit stars comming from both along with her own buffs and shes gonna do a lot of damage even without casturia.
For a prolonged fight, I’m thinking of running Nagao, CasGil, and a support Tamamo. The first two will give constant stars and ATK up with their skills, and all three will give Arts up. And Tamamo can heal to keep the team going while also reducing everyone’s cooldowns.
Gil will also soften up the enemy while bolstering your defenses as well. Tammy will enable skill spam on top of NP Spam. Sounds like an OP team once it gets going.
I'd add Paracelsus to the mix so Nagao starts building np fast just at the beginning. Also he would drop 20 stars with a star bomb ce to help a bit on that too. Man, I can't wait.
@@JiryStark I'd probably give Nagao a CE with a starting NP charge in that situation, probably one that also gave an Arts buff in some form, so she could use her NP before Paracelsus' buffs ran out.

kagetora is one of the servants who when I started FGO a year ago I saw on the servants list and loved the sprite/character model and have been eagerly awaiting their arrival.
You'd think they could give Bond CEs 500-500 split stats so they don't totally suck, instead of the limp 100-100 they usually get.... Like unless it's something kinda OP like Heracles bond CE, they should have at least have decent-stats
Now we need Shingen Takeda. The entire legend and fame of Kenshin would never have existed without the Tiger of Kai and likewise, in reverse. They were amazing people in their own right but they carried the legend of one another due to their infamous battles, always carried out in the deepest of respects to one another to the point Kenshin handed Takeda part of his own armies supplies when the Hojo Clan tried to sabotage Takeda's resources and basically gave them time to recover so they can fight it out on equal terms once again. Kenshin could have ended Shingen there but refused simply cause he held such high respect for Takeda. I believe there are even stories that Kenshin fell into a deep depression and into alcoholism upon learning Takeda died and even attended his funeral to honor someone he never even considered his enemy as Kenshin and Takeda knew they were aiming towards the same goal but just ended up doing it their own way. In some timeline, these two would be allies and even best friends cause they held each other in such high regards.
Decided to come back to this after the event started, and yes Kagetora does indeed have an infectious smile. I knew I liked her beforehand because she's just a really good lookin servant. But that smile... god I'd do anythin for it.
I guess I'd have some QP left over after leveling Arjuna Alter as much as I could since I don't nearly have enough Eggs for him. Or at least, that's what I would say if I had any QP in the first place :') Lol anyway, I'll look forward to Kagetora whenever Guda Guda 4 drops. She looks like a splendid addition to my favorite class.

Ms. Smiles-a-Lot has a fairly valuable niche as an ST Arts Lancer, which she only has Li as competition - and frankly she outclasses him in that role, consider her NPs hitcount and dual inkit NP Gain/NP Damage ups. Pair her up with a couple of Tams and/or Mr. Ps (Like you said) , and she'll be piercing the heavens on a highly regular basis! Absolutely worth grinding the event to get NP5, no doubt about that!
Oh boy, I finally get a decent ST Lancer since I have gripes with Li Shuwen's deck so I can finally push forward with Shimosa since the NPC supports are now updated with their unique CE.

Great video as always. I'm looking forward to getting her on my alt account since my only st lancer is Medusa and I can loop her with my Tamamo. I have the Clay on my main account so she will be competing with them.
So the best options for her are castoria and tamamo to basically cover her weak points while also giving her arts damage buffs and castoria gives a 2and defense and NP charge while tamamo gives a np damage buff that lasts 3 turns and has 2 heals one from her skill, and the other from np which lowers skill cool downs amd Grants more np charge.
She's the servant I didn't know I needed until I watched this spotlight. She'll most certainly have a role to play alongside Eresh, Parv and Clay. Leveling up her skills is gonna be a real pain though lol.
The last couple welfares have been really great, both in gameplay and character. While I like Grey, Kagetora is probably my favorite welfare now (even if I do have Santa Alter's bond CE)

For a prolonged fight, I’m thinking of running Nagao, CasGil, and a support Tamamo. The first two will give constant stars and ATK up with their skills, and all three will give Arts up. And Tamamo can heal to keep the team going while also reducing everyone’s cooldowns.
Gil will also soften up the enemy while bolstering your defenses as well. Tammy will enable skill spam on top of NP Spam. Sounds like an OP team once it gets going.
I'd add Paracelsus to the mix so Nagao starts building np fast just at the beginning. Also he would drop 20 stars with a star bomb ce to help a bit on that too.
Man, I can't wait.
@@JiryStark I'd probably give Nagao a CE with a starting NP charge in that situation, probably one that also gave an Arts buff in some form, so she could use her NP before Paracelsus' buffs ran out.

kagetora is one of the servants who when I started FGO a year ago I saw on the servants list and loved the sprite/character model and have been eagerly awaiting their arrival.
One of my absolute favorites , voiced by one of my absolute favorites.
I'll be expecting Takeda Shingen, DW. (I like her character design
You'd think they could give Bond CEs 500-500 split stats so they don't totally suck, instead of the limp 100-100 they usually get....
Like unless it's something kinda OP like Heracles bond CE, they should have at least have decent-stats
Now we need Shingen Takeda. The entire legend and fame of Kenshin would never have existed without the Tiger of Kai and likewise, in reverse. They were amazing people in their own right but they carried the legend of one another due to their infamous battles, always carried out in the deepest of respects to one another to the point Kenshin handed Takeda part of his own armies supplies when the Hojo Clan tried to sabotage Takeda's resources and basically gave them time to recover so they can fight it out on equal terms once again. Kenshin could have ended Shingen there but refused simply cause he held such high respect for Takeda. I believe there are even stories that Kenshin fell into a deep depression and into alcoholism upon learning Takeda died and even attended his funeral to honor someone he never even considered his enemy as Kenshin and Takeda knew they were aiming towards the same goal but just ended up doing it their own way.
In some timeline, these two would be allies and even best friends cause they held each other in such high regards.

Decided to come back to this after the event started, and yes Kagetora does indeed have an infectious smile. I knew I liked her beforehand because she's just a really good lookin servant. But that smile... god I'd do anythin for it.

Ms. Smiles-a-Lot has a fairly valuable niche as an ST Arts Lancer, which she only has Li as competition - and frankly she outclasses him in that role, consider her NPs hitcount and dual inkit NP Gain/NP Damage ups. Pair her up with a couple of Tams and/or Mr. Ps (Like you said) , and she'll be piercing the heavens on a highly regular basis! Absolutely worth grinding the event to get NP5, no doubt about that!

Can’t wait for Guda4 Kagetora is one of my favorite servants and she’s getting grailed to 100, no doubt.
So the best options for her are castoria and tamamo to basically cover her weak points while also giving her arts damage buffs and castoria gives a 2and defense and NP charge while tamamo gives a np damage buff that lasts 3 turns and has 2 heals one from her skill, and the other from np which lowers skill cool downs amd Grants more np charge.
I'd argue she actually has very little competition, because she's not just a ST lancer, she's a ST *Arts* lancer.
Well, I am glad she is free since an Arts Lancer is a big gap in my roster at the moment.
She's the servant I didn't know I needed until I watched this spotlight.
She'll most certainly have a role to play alongside Eresh, Parv and Clay.
Leveling up her skills is gonna be a real pain though lol.

The last couple welfares have been really great, both in gameplay and character. While I like Grey, Kagetora is probably my favorite welfare now (even if I do have Santa Alter's bond CE)

If I fail to get Avenger Nobu that it still good because Kagetora is there to soften the blow and that next year's banner has better drops because of the 11x Summon and that the Summon Rate is better.
