Purple 10 mm is the one I would love. I would love to see you do more crocheted plants for home decor. Would you ever consider doing flowers? Thanks for taking us along on your crochet journey!
I admire and love your transparency. I enjoy your channel immensely. I am a couple of months shy of being 68 years old and I just got back into my crocheting. It is therapy for me.
Your “measure your hooks” video popped up on my feed. I love crocheting and I always look for inspiration on TH-cam. And I’m really grateful for how the algorithm worked because I’m hooked on your channel. I lost my mom due to cancer this past March 26th and I have no idea how to care care for her 50 plants she has at the house. Well, not only you crochet but you also give such great advice about plants which is exactly what I need right now. The universe works in wondrous ways. 🧡
Your work is beautiful. I love it when I find men who like to crochet. I have a six-year-old grandson and he is obviously interested in my crocheting, and I told him that when he got a little bit older, I could teach him how and he gets super excited. I love to show him videos on TH-cam of men who crochet.
Hello Nick we love that you crochet. My fiancé started knitting during covid to help his arthritis and it helps him. I crochet. He has been watching my crochet channels and decided to pick up the hook and now is crocheting also. Looking forward to seeing the growth of your channel!
I'm glad there are more men crocheting or using yarn arts and posting about it. One suggestion for your pot to have it less round you might wanna do it in single crochet using a yarn under instead of yarn over to create a more structured pot. What does Andrew have to say about your new hobby? It can get crazy with the yarn stash I use primarily natural fibers especially cotton. This hobby has helped me a lot with getting my fine motor skills back. I have stage 4 metastatic esophageal cancer and the chemo has left me with severe neuropathy in my hands and feet that migrates up the limbs as the temperature gets colder. My hands are now completely numb and I was unable to even write my name. I have been crocheting since I was about 9 years old and both my grandmothers taught me. It's such a special craft for me because concentration on my stitching helps me tremendously. Please do not enter me into the giveaway. I have my own favorite hooks I use. Please continue on your venture I had seen many of your plant videos in the past.
I just found your channel and I'm enjoying it. I already have those hooks, they're my favorite too so I'm not entering. Good luck to you all. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have mine.
I love, love, love all of your projects. I definitely want to make the cardigan and graduate from blankets only. Plus the plants are the cutest things. Beautiful! Thank your for your videos. They are a pleasure to watch and immensely inspiring!
You are very good at crotchet, so I watch what you have to say and make. I can't crotchet properly, so now have a teacher and shared your February video with her. Thank you.
There are super cute coaster sets that look like plants when gathered. The coasters are folded in a flower-pot-looking holder. I've seen several versions recently and it seems like they'd compliment your passion for plants.
Hi Nick. Loving the plants and pots. On a bit of a crochet hiatus, been having a lot of pain in my hands and wrists, so my physio has asked me not to crochet for a couple of weeks. Which is so, so hard work. Luckily I am knitter also, so that is keeping my crafting need fed. Though I can't knit for long either. Loving the March tones in your square. I'm also making a hexagon cardigan. I have got my length and was going to start on decreasing the sleeves. I've sown all my ends in whilst waiting for the ok to continue, which is a good thing. Lovely idea to make the lap blanket for your elderly relative. They appreciate it so much. My Mum has just moved into residential care and I made her a feather and fan blanket for Christmas, she says it makes it more homely. She's still adjusting to not being at home or rather in her old house/home. It was a huge decision for her. She's 92 in body but 40 in mind. She wears jeans and band t-shirts. Not your typical 92 year old. Love her for it! I would love either of the smaller hooks 5 or 6. I will be passing it onto my granddaughter, she 11 going on 20! She loves crocheting and is trying to build up to better hooks. She's managed to sell a couple of her handmade items and put the money towards hooks and yarn. Though she regularly comes to just look at my yarn and leaves with a bag full. I have more than enough to share. Sorry I'm good at rambling in text and in person! Happy Crafting. xxJane 🐑🌼
The granny cardigan looks great! I would like to see a video on your rectangular granny blanket as I’ve been interested in making one. No need to enter me into the giveaway as I already have the hooks. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Love your channel. I don't need a new crochet hook so good luck everyone. I did have my hubby measure all my hooks and they were spot on. I have used the same crochet hooks for the 42 years ive been crocheting. ❤
Hi Nick, I really appreciate you taking your time from your busy schedule to share with us all of your projects. I recently found you, you came up in my feed, decided to watch, and now I'm a subscriber!!! Thank you for your service as a nurse. My daughter is a doctor, and I really appreciate you guys ❤!!! I would love to watch a video of your plants 🪴, I love gardening, I love plants, and they are therapy for me❤!!! Once again, thank you!!!
So glad I found you on Reddit and so glad to see other men crocheting. Keep going and putting the craft out there. There are a small amount of men who crochet and I would like to see more like us. Also how are you finding the Picasso yarn from ice? I’ve been contemplating on grabbing some when they are in stock.
I think my favorite things to crochet at the moment are granny square projects. I am making a rainbow blanket for my stepdaughter and it looks similar to yours. You have lovely projects.
I love watching you crochet journey. Seeing men that crochet is awesome and inspiring. I would like the size 10mm hook. Good luck to all the crocheting people entering.
Always good to see you Nick and thank you so much for sharing. I love all the colors in your work. And have been waiting for your March projects video. Well done Sir!
I would love to see your blanket completed. From one nurse and crochet-er, I am loving your videos, plants and crochet. 😊Maybe, you can show us some patterns that we can do at home, how you do tour granny squares, etc.😊☺️. Hugs to you and Andrew, from Toronto🤗. P.s, I would love to see how you made your granny hexagon cardigan 💜. Your crochet plant is adorable. Remember, we are always our worst critics ☺️. Please show us the process of making the plants. P.s. I am also on your instagram as well.
Love these updates! One of my favorite planty crochet projects are those coaster sets that come together to look like a succulent or plant in a pot. So cute. I also recently made a small hanging plant for my friend to hang on her rearview mirror. I also want to make some leafy garlands/vines to hang around
Thanks for being yourself and being real here. I think a shawl collar on the cardigan would be nice, kind of like the Starsky cardi on Starsky and Hutch. I know, I'm old-er. I'd love to see more plant brochets. Those are adorbs. :) I'd like any of the hooks, but 10 would be my favorite.
I enjoy your videos and that there is no wall of yarn around you 😂 . Your real and crocheted plants are adorable, can't wait till they bloom 🌼🏵️🪴greetings from Germany
I love it all, especially the Picasso yarn granny square blanket. I’ve done a granny hexagon cardigan for my daughter. It’s so pretty. I also have many plants and your crochet plants are too cute. I’d love to see how you’ve made it. Your work is outstanding. I’ll have to watch all your videos. Thanks so much for sharing your work. 🫶🏼
Your crochet journey is amazing! I have been at this for a few years now and I am finding my niche… I like to make hats, blankets and shawls. I have tried about everything and those there stand out for me. I also found my preferred yarns and weights of yarn so you have all this to discover… there is a graph Afghan out on Ravelry with just a Monstera leaf printed on it. It is tailor made for you!
I love your videos Nick! Your crocheted plants are amazing. I would love for you to crochet more plants. I love the idea of the crocheted plants. They are great for people with brown thumbs. I would love the 6 crochet hook❤
I love the plants! I don't have a place to grow them so it's a great idea for me to add greenery to my space. I crochet flowers and they add wonderful colors.
You are the first winner! Please respond here with your email or DM me on instagram @nickasarbata to let me know which hook you'd like and to provide your address!
Heya, hello! I saw and heard saying you making a lap shawl for your grandmother. I made me one but my legs were still cold. I made me leg warmers! Lol they are great sitting here in lounge wear. Yes, I'm not brave enough to wear them out. But now I have 3 pairs. One pair gets worn everyday!!! Oh I made first one from acrylic. But other two are wool. One is the super washed merino. So soft and comfy! Pricey but worth it!
I just found your channel and Ive been watching your crochet videos. A few tips. The weight of a yarn is determined by how many times you can wrap the yarn around a ruler per in. There are printable guides you can find so you always know. That way when you work on a project you dont use a thin weight 4 and a thick weight 4 in the same project. It used to stress me out a lot. Mixed media crochet can be fun to explore. Its using different fibers, weights, and textures to change up the look
Please don't get rid of the plant leaves.... Save it... You will look back on it in a few years and remember your crochet journey. I have been making amigurmi for a few years and still have the first whale I made...I love that Picasso yarn....I would like the J or H hook if I won, I would like a video about your temp blanket. I love the 12 granny squares.OMG...i don't care if I win.....I am in love with your instagram posts. Amazing !!!!!!
I've been blowing through projects too! I realized in the month of march, I basically made 5 garments... I was completely shocked that I made so many. I've been just grinding things out and enjoying every minute.
I would love the size 5 hook. I would love to see you crochet a spider plant if it's possible. Learning you are a nurse is exciting! I am a retired RN and I miss nursing. My specialty was geriatric nursing in a hospital unit. I loved working with the elderly because they have a wealth of knowledge and experiences that when asked, were more than happy to talk about them. Good luck with your studies and teaching the students. The profession always needs good people who care.
I am new to crocheting and just found your channel. It is great! I seen someone else comment you are not surrounded by yarn...that's it! It just makes it more relaxing to be surrounded by all your plants! I would love the 5mm hook. I would also love a video(s) on any crochet plant tutorials you could make. I have two cats and while I love plants most are not cat friendly so I want to learn to make crochet ones! 💜
I just recently came across your TH-cam channel and fell in love with your personality. I usually just crochet throws but, I would love you to make a video on how to make the granny square cardigan. Likewise, I would love to get the 10 mm crochet hook.
Love to see what you are making. Your cardigan is beautiful you’re doing such a great job on all your projects, I would like to see how you started the rectangle granny blanket. Loved your crochet plants.
I love everything you’re making! I definitely would want to see videos on your temperature blanket, because I’ve always wanted to make one, and your rectangular granny square blanket. Ice yarns has Picasso rainbow in stock again and my order arrived a couple days ago. It took 6 days to get to Illinois from Turkey. The color is more of a pastel rainbow and I actually like the one you have with the deeper colors better. I spent about $52 on yarn and shipping was about $48 and that was for 48 balls of yarn, so I thought it was a really good deal. I would also love to see videos on your cardigan because I’ve been wanting to make one. I wonder if you could do a shawl collar similar to the sweater you’re wearing in the video. I think that would be more masculine. Lastly I would love to see videos on your plants and in particular, how you crochet the leaves. I actually found your channel through gardening, but also happen to love knitting and crocheting too. If I were to win in your giveaway, I would choose the size 6 hook. Thank you for sharing all that you’re doing with us. I’m looking forward to more videos whether it be gardening, plants or crocheting.
I stumbled on your channel. (Thank you TH-cam algorithm) I really enjoy your videos. I would happily be the recipient of one of your giveaways....but if I'm not I am not going to hate on you. I'm a retired RN. I have taught LPN students plus other clinical positions. I love your projects and your openness when you do your videos. Look forward to the next installment.
I'm impressed with your cardigan!! I'm crocheting a basket weave runner for my love chair. It's great to see and meet guys that crochet. However, I'm a plant daddy. I also love your plant videos. This is great!!
I made a small crocheted planter/plant combo ages ago and filled it with potpourri encased in one layer of cheesecloth. It was a hit with the person it was gifted to 😊. Love your channel.
I absolutely love all your wonderful yarn 🧶 creations. I'm really enjoying your crochet journey and I'm so looking forward to the future of this channel. You have inspired me to make a granny squares vest for my son (I love your colours used)and I can't wait to make it. I love your temp blankets the colour combinations are gorgeous 😍 thank you for the inspo , sending love from Wales UK
I was your 2000th instagram follower! I would love to know if you’ve thought about working with different yarn weights, especially the smaller crochet threads, fingering, sock, sport, etc. I’ve been crocheting for over 10 years and just started using thread; such a fun new skill to learn! I watch these types of videos while I crochet, so all ads are being watched and not skipped :)
Oh HEEEEY 2000th instagram follower! You are the third winner! Please respond here with your email or DM me on instagram @nickasarbata to let me know which hook you'd like and to provide your address!
Just found your channel a few weeks ago, and you are doing a great job. I just watch for the crochet, lol. I have been crocheting for a year and think you should try and make a shawl, they are my favorite thins to make.
Enjoyed your video. I Love your plants, I don't have a green thumb so there are only 3 things I can grow😂 Ivy, geraniums, and for some odd reason cause they are hard to grow is African Violets. I have found hooks are different in size over my 60+ years of crocheting, depends on who made them I found.. I am not entering your giveaway if by chance you pick me give to someone else. I've got more hooks than a sane person needs😂. Stay Safe and Be Blessed
Thank you for your generosity. I would love the 10mm. For a question, I would love to know if you have a bucket list crochet project you would like to make? Love your videos.
Hi Nick! I would love to see you make things/decor for the house, toy hammocks, jar covers for fairy lights, anything you can think of! I am always looking for new ideas and and glad I came across your channel! I am incredibly new to crochet myself and have only made simple blankets so far due to time constraints. If I win, I would like any of them, so I can build my collection of sizes, but if I had to choose, the 10 would be good. Thank you!
I want to keep seeing the progress of your cardigan. Ten millimeters. I understand the being tired. I work six to seven days a week in the healthcare field.
I'm Loving the cardigan your making, can't wait to see it finished, great color on you also! I would Love for you to make a tutorial on the pot of plants 🪴, Love the two you made!! It would be awesome to win the 10mm Clover hook. Good Luck to all Thanks for sharing! Take Care, Blessings
Good afternoon, Would love to join the giveaway, but I'm not on social, unfortunately. That's alright tho! For the Q&A: 1. I would love to know how you curate your crochet design and color palette. I found your color choice very cozy, inviting, and rustic. Your color palette is not something I seen often, if at all. They do vary from project to project for sure, but I found they just make sense because it's you who chose them. 2. Do you bring your crochet project to work and crochet them during your breaks or transit time? How have crochet and plant-keeping affected your mental health/stress management? Thank you for another upload. I found your voice to be calming, your sass and candidness always put a grin on my face and of course laughter! Looking forward to seeing more videos from you!
I like the grandmother’s blanket, the rainbow quilt and the variegated plant leaves. All of your work is great, but those are my “favorites”. I was a pediatric PA for many years. Do you have a “specialty”? NPs are our “brother/sister” profession. Thank you for all the care that you provide!
I love all your projects. Your crocheted plants would be perfect for any workplace office.
I am so happy to see another man at the end of a crochet hook! Great presentation.
Thank you! 😊
I would love if you did a tutorial on that plant. I’m in love with it! 🥰
Yes please make the video about the whole temp blanket? ❤ also, it would be nice to insert photos of the other months!

I wish everybody luck on winning. This old man has more than enough crochet hooks.
Hi I’m new here from the UK, nice to see men to do crochet etc, your videos are lovely
Your work is beautiful. I love it when I find men who like to crochet. I have a six-year-old grandson and he is obviously interested in my crocheting, and I told him that when he got a little bit older, I could teach him how and he gets super excited. I love to show him videos on TH-cam of men who crochet.
That is awesome!
The color combination for March, gorgeous!
Love your crochet plants. At least I couldn't kill those!
OMG I love that white pot and plant!!!!! That is gorgeous! I need to make something.
Hi Nick, I would like the 5mm. I would like to see a day in the life type video.
Love your crochet plants, would like to try making them.
What a cute pot and leaves! Wow the big one is impressive. I like the all plastic crochet hook.
Try use tuning hook and you will love it
The leaves look just fine. I crocheted for over 40 years so take my word for it. I love all of your crocheting.😊
Sorry I don't do Instagram, so good luck to all the winners. Love the Terra cotta bowl.
I've been making lap blankets for cancer patients using granny square pattern. I have hand arthritis. But love doing these. Keep up your good work
You are very good at crotchet, so I watch what you have to say and make. I can't crotchet properly, so now have a teacher and shared your February video with her. Thank you.
There are super cute coaster sets that look like plants when gathered. The coasters are folded in a flower-pot-looking holder. I've seen several versions recently and it seems like they'd compliment your passion for plants.
I love everything you made in March! Yes, please show how to do the variegated plant.

Lovely idea to make the lap blanket for your elderly relative. They appreciate it so much.

The granny cardigan looks great! I would like to see a video on your rectangular granny blanket as I’ve been interested in making one. No need to enter me into the giveaway as I already have the hooks. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Coming soon!
Love your channel. I don't need a new crochet hook so good luck everyone. I did have my hubby measure all my hooks and they were spot on. I have used the same crochet hooks for the 42 years ive been crocheting. ❤

Make a video - frogging and chatting!
It’s immediately going on the agenda!
Thanks for all you speak about in your podcast, good to have males increasing in the numbers
Love these updates! One of my favorite planty crochet projects are those coaster sets that come together to look like a succulent or plant in a pot. So cute. Not a fan of yarn backgrounds eh? I’m also a totally obsessed plant geek and I think they make a better background!
Is that a sea-aquarium in the background? I apparently have the same hobbies as you! Crochet, plants, gardening and aquariums! 😅

Thin macrame cording crocheted wonderful leaves!
The crocheted plant looks awesome!
Gee, I love the cardigan! Your work is beautiful and inspiring. My brother and I used to crochet rugs so it's good to see another fellow creating. ❤
March was wonderful 😅

Yes, definitely looking forward for a medium pot.
I love granny square ❤
Awesome plants and I am seriously admiring your fish tank. 😊
Hi Nick, I would like you to show me how to do the tighter centre on the rectangle granny square. Thanks Karen
Nick I like your projects that you did in March. You are using really good colors, Good Luck!

Love Ice yarn Picasso yarns and love your granny square.
Good luck to the winners..... :)
I would like to see plant tutorial ( the larger one) with ivy plant drapes over the container.
I think I can make that happen!
OMG! Love, love the white pot.
I’m making skirts for my grand nieces in the Picasso rainbow II. Thank you so very much for introducing me to this yarn. You’re the best!
Hey Nick! Love your channel, you keep it so real! If I win I would like the 10mm Hook. Also, I would love to see a video on crocheted plants. Thanks!
The rainbow yarn is my favourite but I love all your projects!
@@URBANFARMBOYS just DMd you :)
I like the Purple 10mm because purple is my favorite color! How many plants do you have in total?
Just found your channel a few weeks ago, and you are doing a great job. I just watch for the crochet, lol. I have been crocheting for a year and think you should try and make a shawl, they are my favorite thins to make.
That blanket is my jam! I’d like a video about it. 😀
Thank you!
you're tension and consistency is excellent

Take Care, Blessings
Very interesting. I would love to make one even add a few flowers
Good afternoon,
Would love to join the giveaway, but I'm not on social, unfortunately. That's alright tho!
For the Q&A:
I love the crochet plants. A tutorial would be fantastic, when you have the time.
I’d love you to do a video on how to make the crochet plants! 🥰
