In germany, every phone has an OEM Unlock.. The A32 5G (i have), the S24 Ultra, the A55, the A15 and so on. Every phone i know has that Option.
yeah i have Note 9, Note 20 Ultra, A32, Tablets and even more...none of them have the OEM...it so sad to see Samsung drop that low, i seriously used to like them, now no more.
@@OMNITEK Do you live in Germany or any EU Country?
@@hamsterliebe_Official no I'm in US...that's why I don't have OEM unlock
@@OMNITEK Weird why Samsung locks this.. I guess the devices are baught with the data plans? Could be a reason for Samsung, but i do not know this :)
@@hamsterliebe_Official no, all my devices are unlocked from factory...i never buy from carriers.
Absolutely correct on all your points made about OEM unlocking. There is no reason for Samsung to create so much ewaste and frankly it should not be legal either (EU save us)
I wished Samsung watched this, the design of the phones are good but optimizations, Security, Camera Ui and features, are kinda bad i wish they would improve it but i don't think they will
And at least with Apple you could get a new battery and your phone would work like new again.
bro i came to know this shit way before, like when galaxy J8 was released. i got an update after i installed, it slowwwwwd my phone like snaiiil bru, when i open an app i get the white screen for 3-4 seconds.
My galaxy J7 runs on android 6.0.1 and it has an OEM unlock option. and brother let me tell you one thing, motorola phones emmit radiations beyond the legal limit, samsung phones doesnt. Human skin absorbs the radiation from the phone.
Pixels are just better i agree with you, samsung phones get slower and slower as they age, i have used a lot of samsung phones till now. every series the J,M,S,F literally every phone after installing updates it gets laggy
it's the update crippling
urmm. i'm all aboard with the samsung hate wagon. i mean, i still hate them for what they've done with with their phones now and before, no quality at all. the green lines and yelowish screen is still a thing all the way back from s7 till note 20 ultra (the ones that i know off) and pair with a clown of a processor with the exynos. BUT, it's still the phone that looks good beside apple and sony for my taste. other like xiaomi, oppo, vivo and even oneplus designs on their phone is beginning to look awful and cartoonish.
Also for a fact, just so happens that i have the S24+ exynos, it does indeed comes with OEM Unlocking. I never knew the Snapdragon version doesn't have that option.
1:34 thats weird, my a32 4g has oem unlock, and i am running android 13, meybe its cuz of the location
Also if you want s headphone jack go buy an xperia
do you have the American version? mine is on Android 13 One UI 5.1 it's the 5G version...but no oem unlock option at all, i even contacted samsung and they admit it's a decision they made intentionally.
FACTS! Also the fact that the Good Lock app isn't baked into One UI or at least available outside the US, plus non-US customers also gets their inferior exynos processor is a huge deal breaker. Not only that but I can't believe apple is actually implementing a proper app locking feature with iOS 18 while Samsung clearly thinks secure folder is a sufficient substitute for native app locking. Pathetic!
Uhh...since last year, they gave all users with the same Snapdragon processors across all the flagship line up all around the world.
And Exynos isn't that bad for a mid-range devices & tbh they really fit into Mid-range line up
@@Biob3602
Your first statement is incorrect. Saying "since last year" implies that they still do, when actually, it was only last year. This year, only the S24 Ultra uses Snapdragon worldwide, while the S24 and S24+ use the Exynos 2400 outside the US.
I agree with your second statement and would argue that Exynos chips belong in mid-range devices. Exynos chips today have no business being inside Samsung's S series phones.
And with the new iOS 18 update coming, I'm actually considering getting an iPhone for the first time.
Good Lock is available on EU samsung phones tho. It wasn't the case years ago where you needed fine lock or whatever other launchers for good lock there was.
some of us used to be almost Samsung ambassadors (unpaid) lol...just so we could laugh at Apple for locking down stuff and being restrictive...how do we like them apples now hahaha
