I've heard about this game here and there over the last couple years but because I have the opportunity to buy a physical copy and your review I'm gonna dive in. I think I'm gonna love this game. Thanks!
The true ending definitely has a lot more happening in it. Since the update, they added 3 more save slots so you should be able to get the other two endings pretty easily. I wish you luck on your second journey!
Blud I feel like omori on some percs. Like Blud has a desktop wall paper of a black and white brick wall and his notes repeat the same two phrases over and over again. And the craziest part is that where all this shit is happening his room is looping infinitely. Like bro is not depressed he just needs to lay off the dmt and percs ong.
Really an awesome game, I played it when it came out :3 Thanks for doing this video, this is what I need, to show others the game's greatness, without spoiling them, hopefully they play it, too :D You're right about playing Omori is like seing a friend grow and facing hardships together, once I knew why the horrors haunt Sunny, I just wanted to give him a hug and comfort him.
A looooot of WTF moments. Depending on what you missed, it might only be a couple of more hours playing. I don't know if 100% completion is important for you but it felt really good to complete this game.
Thanks for the review, I was wondering if this would be a good thing to ask for and learning a bit more of what its about makes me think it would be a worthwhile purchase. I found myself covering the screen at times though because I don’t like to be visually spoiled, even though showcasing gameplay is standard in game reviews.
Glad the review helped. I would like to assure you that without the proper context there is very little to spoil visually. I took great care to make sure the story points and other impactful moments are not in this video. Thanks for writing!
I thought this game was really fantastic. Having said that I had very mixed feeling about the final reveal but I still think it's a great game. I wish you could go through text faster and I think it's a little long in places such as playing through memories at the end which makes me hesitate to go for other endings straight away but I will defo go back at some point. I think it's quite a special game. I'd be more specific but I dont wanna leave spoilers in the comments.
Glad you liked it! One of the endings is much longer than other. They also recently added more save slots to cut down on replay time if you miss something. Thanks for keeping spoilers out of the comments and I hope you enjoy the other endings!
I thought the ending reveal was great, if you're talking about the true ending that is. SPOILERS The point of the ending was that Sunny revealed the secret that had been eating at him for years, the side character's plotlines were already wrapped up. Essentially, what was important was that he had the courage to tell them in the first place, their reactions would've just been window service, and would've removed some of the "oompf" of that ending imo. Granted, this is just me assuming you're talking about the very end, so if you're not, then ignore my entire comment lol.
I found the horror to be rather tasteful, there are a couple of jumpscares, but not really any with loud noises. they leave me feeling more unsettled than out right scared, at least in my opinion. the horror is used pretty sparingly throughout the story, so it’s paced pretty well alongside the wholesome, colorful world
i’m really frustrated because i bought this game and i was excited to play but i have a 60% keyboard which means i have no arrow keys. now i have to get a refund :(
I'm confused. Which part is from the Steam page? Here is the description on Steam. "Explore a strange world full of colorful friends and foes. Navigate through the vibrant and the mundane in order to uncover a forgotten past. When the time comes, the path you’ve chosen will determine your fate... and perhaps the fate of others as well."
Is there an audio version of this? I want to convince a friend to play but want them in completely blind, just feel that the [spoiler] space segments are still a bit too spoiler-y. [spoiler]: a dark shade
Played this game 3 times. It's a must play
I hope you saw it all. I am pretty sure I missed a thing or two.

I've already played it but I missed a lot of interactions so I'm trying to get almost everything this time and still get the true ending.

It took me 35.5 hours and I still missed things. Also my WTF Value was 8

How to see the value
Great review. Thanks for explaining the combat so concisely.
Im too scared to keep playing so I watch spoiler free reviews right now lol
Haha same! Did you perhaps get the confidence to play it already?
Injust started it. I know what happens, I'm still swept by it's cuteness. I'm sure all the rumours are just misinformation......
Awesome video MPG! I will definitely check this one out!
Thanks, Guy!

Blowin up with another hot review! Great Job!!!
My friend brim tolf me to play this i think i should play it
It's a good mixture of RPG with creepy elements. Are there a lot of jump scares? It looks cool but I'm a wimp. ;_;
I too would like to know
It does have a few jump scares, but I found that most of the horror was psychological. So more of a creepy/unsettling scary.

Like 2 that I know one avoidable
nice review
Thanks J! Glad you liked it.

Alyssa is right. I only used a controller when playing. Wireless and wired.
You can always get a cheap keyboard
you know you can change all the controls right?
@@lessur i couldn’t because for me to change the key binds i needed to use the arrow keys to even navigate the menu
@@MARKlPLlER how do you not have a cheap controller? Wireless keyboard? Also, it’s on the Switch now!
Wait, I beat the game twice. There's a third route?
Very cool. Looks excellent, excellent, excellent indeed.
It really, really is. Thanks for watching!
in the beginning of the video it read off the steam description lmao I wanna play omori tho

Unfortunately I don't have an audio only version of any of my posts. You could always have them look away from the sceen?
Nice vid
