Thanks for your videos. I’m at the point of removing the inner rockers on my 67 GT A convertible. Boy tough job. Thanks again for your videos. I would lost without them.
Thanks. Definitely a tough job. Not for the faint of heart by any means. I’m an amateur for sure so I braced mine to death before I dared cut anything. Glad the videos help!
@@carguytroy Going to start the same process on my 65 Coupe. i am getting ready to build a jig and was wondering about how high are the rockers from the floor?
My stand/jig is fairly tall so I can get under the car to work. The bottom of the outer rockers just in front of the pinch weld measures 28”. It’s level at the rockers front to back and side to side.
Hey man I noticed that your using a Harbor Freight Welder I`m doing the same on my 65 mustang too do find it as strong with flux core than gas Please let me know My TH-cam channel is walter`s 1965 mustang check it when you can Thanks
I’ve never used the flux core wire. Hooked up to gas right away. I’ve had the welder for 8 ish years and used it through another 66 mustang that I replaced EVERYTHING on. Works great for me. Checked out your car/progress. Great work!!
@@carguytroy thanks this car was a coupe that i cut the top off this was the best choice for me at that time i still have a long way to go please keep showing your progress thanks

It’s on a stand/jig supported at the suspension mounting points and other points under the car
